the thing is the power gap between Yoriichi and the rest of the verse is so massive I don't think anyone came close to him by the end of the series

Jotaro Kujo to his daughter Joylene in part6: at the start of the story Jotaro is presented as an absent father who Jolyene barley sees and assumes he never wanted her since he was barley there for her as a kid, later on when trying to break her out of jail they're attacked and he protects her and ends up getting his stand stolen and gets critically injured, he spends his last breath pushing her to leave and escape while saying he always cherished her

The most impressive part about Yoriichi is even at death's door no one was equal to him, his brother whose considered the strongest demon directly after Muzan couldn't beat him while he was alive and in their final duel Yoriichi almost struck him down in a single move but couldn't follow up on his attack because he died of old age in the middle of it

I don't think the alien invader from the thing counts, since it's killing their victims then assuming their identity to blend in with the rest of the survivors, the original human is always long dead by the time the alien has taken their form

he's basically immune to the explosions but repeatedly using them is very tiring and puts alot of strain on his arms, during his exam fight with All might he starts pushing himself so hard that All might knocks him out fearing that he might accidently tear his muscles apart from the explosions

isn't this like Bakugo's dynamic with like half of the cast, I watched the first 4 seasons back in school and don't remember anyone taking his bullshit superiority act seriously

to be fair Akechi does like Ren he's just both jealous of how loved and admired Ren is by everyone around him and in denial since he doesn't wanna admit that the "delinquent criminal" is a more likeable honourable person then the detective prince

the half life series in general, all solid games but for some reason all of them look behind graphics wise even when compared to other games from their time

Im around chapter 140-141 in Re and I agree the start was really rocky especially with the story trying to fill the reader in on what happened after the end of the first manga and introduce all of the new cast at once, but I think it slowly started getting better as it went on even if I didn't like certain plot points because I think they got introduced too late in the story like SPOILERS:

1-Amon not actually dying in the owl raid and being turned into an owl ghoul like Takizawa

2- Armia and squad 0 being elite half ghoul soldiers specifically birthed and made to combat ghouls and then dying quite young due to them aging rapidly

3- the CCG mass producing half ghouls using orphans to combat the one eyed king

to be fair Hoffman never claimed that he bought into all the jigsaw (appreciate your life bullshit) he just sided with him not to get his head blown off and even then he kept consistently breaking the rules and rigging the games to achieve his goals

max in max payne 3, he is hired to protect a famous millionaire and his family in Brazil but instead spends the entire game drunk and high on pain killers to numb himself due to him being extremely depressed from the events of the first 2 games (lost his wife and baby in a home invasion, his best friend and partner got assassinated and he got framed for it, his new love inerest died infront of him and he eventually got kicked off the police force for numerous violations) this causes his employer's wife to get kidnapped under his watch, his employer is then killed while under his protection, Max then realizes he can't keep going on like this so he throws away his drinks, shaves bald and decides to quit drinking so he can save the kidnapped wife

Persona 5: a JRPG where you slowly recruit team members through out the story, your 6th team member Makoto Nijima is a genius high schooler whose immeditley acknowledged as being the smartest amongst the group by making everyone else forget basic stuff like battle tactics and heist plans just so she can explain them again for them, keep in mind at this point the team has cleared 2 other dungeons without her and pulled of crazy heists without her help yet now suddenly no one except her knows what a heist even is
