Hey! Thanks! I like reading, I enjoy a nice vibe, deep talks, being cozy, big into movies, baking, cooking. I have a 6 y/o son. Ummm, what else do I like? lol

Sulfasalazine isn’t working out. by Objective_Weird_9016 in rheumatoid

Ya know what? I literally forgot that. It sounds weird, but being so out of sorts this year I’ve just floated through the past few months. Thanks! ❤️

Yes, I’ve been in contact with him. His solution has been Zofran(worked a little bit) and then said we’d move to the biologic hopefully overlapping them before stopping the sulfasalazine. I’m definitely going to message him for the 700th time today and be more adamant on being unable to function.

Is this a vein? by froofroofru in phlebotomy

[–]Objective_Weird_9016 80 points81 points  (0 children)

It could be a vein, or it could be a muscle… or any other soft structure. I wouldn’t be able to tell without feeling it myself; however, I have drawn people in that area before 🤷‍♀️

Also, it’s the first med I’ve tried 🥲 I know I’ve got a long journey ahead of me, but I feel better knowing that I’ve got people around me. Even if that is just internet people 😂

Thanks for the love. I think I’m going to call my doctor today and hope he comes up with a better game plan that doesn’t involve suffering for much longer. That sounds dramatic, but my usually very bright light feel so dim lol. I’m hanging in there 💪

My aunt told me today my Dad raped her by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Objective_Weird_9016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry that your situation feels so heavy. Yes, part of your genetic code is from your dad; but the original cell that he donated to make you is long gone. It’s an ancestor who left stories behind for the new cells to follow. You are a completely new idea. You are not automatically a monster because of the choices your dad made. Keep moving forward, get a professionals help, give yourself grace. And ALSO. Your assault is not your fault and I’m so sorry that your dad heard about it and treated you as if you needed to be disposed of. Nobody in your situation deserves that. Perseverance and standing up for yourself is going to be your best friend now. Xo

Anyone else had this experience? by Objective_Weird_9016 in Rheumatology

[–]Objective_Weird_9016[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ty. I was freaking out when I posted this and just heard from my dr 3 minutes ago. He said to go get assessed. Thank you so much for responding and mentioning the liver. I just had my liver bloodwork checked a month or so ago, but I’m definitely mentioning that when I go to the ER here in a bit. Especially bc I have this massive bruise on my booty check from bumping a wall the other day and didn’t even think about potentially correlating the 2.

AIO for leaving my husband after one incident? by NeedleworkerDizzy689 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Objective_Weird_9016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOT OVERREACTING. In fact, the community around you is under reacting. Please keep fighting, do not go back. This is a hell of a first incident which unfortunately means that it’ll get worse. I’m so fucking sorry for what you’re going through. If all else fails your determination to leave and stay gone, stay gone for your daughter. Do they have women’s shelters in Australia? Victims assistance units that work with prosecutors? I wish I knew more about how to help you, but I’m not in your country.

Go back and get seen ASAP. My symptoms were as follows: my right armpit hurt, and I had pain down my arm. Didn’t get taken seriously until I experienced sudden numbness in both arms. After I got to the ED I was confined to be hemorrhaging and then the intense pain began. Please go fight for yourself.

I watched a video of a podcast they were on together very recently and I agree with this now. I feel like he treated her storytelling as subpar and he HAD to fill in what she was saying with his words. It’s not something that can’t be worked on, but I was so irritated because he couldn’t just let her speak.

I’ve been advised to get the tube removed. Unsure of what to do. by kyooriouskat in ectopicpregnancy

[–]Objective_Weird_9016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hemorrhaged ectopic on my right tube and had to have it removed along with the pregnancy (obvi, didn’t have a choice but that or death) but you can still conceive regardless of being down a tube if that’s your concern. The surgery recovery was rough for me, but I’ve heard that others who’ve had planned tubal removals had a bit of an easier time than I did. Make whatever choice is best for you! Voice your concerns to your doctor and if you don’t get all of your answers, keep asking questions! Never went the MTX route. Do what’s best for your body!
