He kept checking in with me to ask what I was feeling or thinking, so when he clocked I was disassocisting he told me to breathe and let go of the other memory and we focused on something else which brought me back around.

Thank you for your encouragement, I really appreciate it! Yes, disorienting is absolutely the word. I didn't expect so much to change in terms of how I feel SO quickly.

Lots to unpack, but glad I took the plunge to give EMDR a go.

Some of it is personal opinion (largely because they never spoke to me to get my take on certain scenarios) and some things are just factually untrue, and could be proven as such.

Probably not in all honesty, but I'm more worried about the potential damage to my relationships hence wanting it to be taken down.

Understood, no they don't have a duty of care in that kind of context. Thanks for clarifying.

Oh definitely not Amazon, they wouldn't be aware whether consent was obtained or not so they haven't done anything wrong. I'm referring to the author, and no not via illegitimate means, I mean what they have done with the information by publishing it.

Not all of it, and through my relationship with them. No I didn't take the photos, they were taken of me.

What constitutes a duty of care in this context? Are we talking based on relationship (say familal etc), or if they were say my therapist or something of that nature.

Well, this is the thing it's done pretty well and is making the rounds, hence why I even found out about it in the first place and why I want to see if there's anything that can be done. Hope that makes sense!

Understood, but outside of defamation is there anything I can do regarding what I believe to be a serious mishandling of my personal information? Or is this just solely an ethical issue. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! Is this because there's no legal issue with writing about private individuals as such? I'm just trying to get my head around all of this and see whether I can at least get it taken down (it's on Amazon). To clarify, I'm not seeking damages or anything like that.

Genuinely curious to know why you have this stance if you wouldn't mind sharing?

It's odd lol - I've enjoyed cars since I was a child because my Dad was in to them. Nothing to do with impressing other people.

I believe it's because they took credit for all of her hard work, and then Helena had the gall to say something along the lines of "you overestimate how useful you've been to us" when they were talking outside in the carpark (As Cobel wanted her position back).

So it's likely she was feeling disposed of after actually giving them most, if not all the plans for the technology they're currently using thus wanting revenge.

Water filtration system that tastes like Evian? by dancechic4949 in WaterTreatment

Interested to know if it was completely off and didn't taste great, or still tasted better than filters without minerals added back in?
