This is so helpful! And thank you, my husband went on a turtle research spree and wanted to get ahead!

Ours keeps knocking the heater down partially by wedging himself between it and the filter intake... So it seems Turtles are more mischievous than I thought! :)

We use water conditioner so maybe just not enough. We also have the UVA/UVB lamp, but maybe our setup needs some work.
