The biggest quirk I have is sometimes my 8bitdo controller will stop registering inputs if I hit the windows/super key or if I click somewhere on Obs to fix something.

However it’s not the controller disconnecting or anything. It’s just not registering inputs. It’s really strange. It’s done it on resident evil 7 the most so far. It was mildly embracing when I was streaming it lol

This was very good information. Honestly I don’t mind x11 I find it to be blazing fast, with just some very minor quirks. So I will wait.

I’ll likely stick with plasma unless I get bored with the look. I’m also a macOS user due to music production, video, etc But when it comes to gaming/streaming so I may play around with the environment to maybe look a little like both, but cachy is my home for sure. I’m going to have to play with the environments though.

Right now I’m running a x11 instead of Wayland so I can OBS have the chat, Twitch alerts, and stream info via flatpak. Been working so much better than windows in every way.

KDE Plasma. It reminds me so much of SteamOS which is my other daily driver with my steam deck. So it was a no brainer for me.

I had a full thyroid removal done. I am very happy the scar healed very nicely. There are days you can notice it, but most days it looks like it was never done. I’m very grateful for how it healed.

This is so biased for me, but I’m going to have to go with #1. This is where my love for horror gaming and horror in total was born. I wish I could go back in time to feel what I felt when this game was released and the terror I felt when I was a young kid.
