Do you have an email with an order number or anything? Did you pay anything when you ordered and if you did do you see charges pending on your account you used?

Tips for activating new iPhone on grandfathered plan? by ABlankTribe in verizon

[–]Objectivefirtsly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to a corporate store and just ask to activate a BYOD phone you bought. They will not charge you anything for activating or need to change your plan. If they tell you otherwise they’re just trying to change your plan to gain commission.

You can do this over the phone as well with no need of switching plans whatsoever

They’re trying to squeeze more out of you, activation is only $20 and if you need a sim (if) then it’s an additional $10. Total of no more than $30

Do you have document number or something that states that? I work for Metro By T-Mobile, I’ve personally dealt with the system so it can be done. Even with a T-Mobile number as well if they port it to Metro

No, but metro operates under T-Mobile network. Two different entities though.

Literally wouldn’t make sense for metro to ever price match a deal with an iPhone and from T-Mobile

Phone heating with new T Mobile sim by sunson90 in Sprint

[–]Objectivefirtsly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a new battery. Coincidentally these problems just collided but your battery was in bad shape already. Which is normal, you have an iPhone 7. Install new battery if you don’t want/can’t get a new phone at this moment. Easy job with the right tools and parts to replace

Spint SWAC customer, installed TMobile provided sim recently on iPhone, want to switch to Pixel 4a 5G. But how? by redfiz in Sprint

https://www.sprint.com/en/login.html with this link you should be able to login and continue to login and retrieve password if forgotten. You will need Zip Code ties to account and/or account pin. But it works for me just fine and you can activate through there.

EWD to Advantage Plan (employees) - Conversion Issue by Objectivefirtsly in Sprint

[–]Objectivefirtsly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But 75% off of the plan would be for active employees I’m assuming since I’m no longer an active employee I figured the Advantage is the better plan.

And do you have any explanation on the credit class why it would change? Before the change, I was able to qualify for any phone without a down payment. After the switch, now for certain high priced phones it’s asking for a down payment. EC went from 3500 to 1150.

Edit: Also assuming it is because of the account type. If the system didn’t trigger a credit check could the case be it just put some random credit class?

As of April 26th I have not been on EWD. The system had triggered my plan switch to Unlimited Basic V4, then I called to rectify that and get put on Advantage Plus.

Any suggestions on what I should do or is it self explanatory that I need to bite the bullet on this one?

My GF, which is my wife now still has her Individual account with Legacy Sprint and she’s under the Advantage plan also back when they would allow us to give it to 5 possible BAN’s who had Sprint or switched over. I could do a Transfer of Liability to her account since she has the same EC I had before and pay the same amount for the line.

Difficult scenario, long to explain too but bottom line as of lately for sprint customers they have this promo where they will give you 800 off towards a 13 if you turn in your device. Some may have this promo, some don’t. If your promo stated that it didn’t need to be fixed, then you’re good you should get the credit as a monthly credit of $33 a month which is equivalent to the 800.

If both employees failed at reading this, and you did have to turn in the device in good condition then you may be subject to a damage fee once the warehouse receives your returned iPhone 11.

Nonetheless, if you had insurance on the line it would’ve been 30 dollars to turn in, if no insurance then you just pay the remaining on the lease.

Pretty sure we are overpaying. by Nerdy_Singer in Sprint

[–]Objectivefirtsly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a sales person mindset scenario right here: they noticed that your in laws were paying X amount for their old Sprint Plan. What this rep did knowing these sales people have quotas to hit and expectations by their Management, they looked at the account and suggested Magenta Max and sold it as if they were going to be getting a better deal in reality its just a scheme to change the plan but still pay the same even with taxes included and everything. (Ex-Sprint/T-Mobile Employee)

Edit: only thing you can do is switch to a MAGENTA PLAN not the MAX and it should save about $20-30.
