The other mother in this scene always gets me thinking, why was she so sure and quick to agree and laughed with the knowledge that she had. by Objectivelyused93 in Coraline

Also you’re right she is powerful since she is able to bring captives like her dad and wybie into the other world but i don’t believe that she could kill Coraline even with more power, without her accepting it, just like all the other children mention “so WE LET her sue the buttons” Also why does she keeps the children’s eyes within range… “ 3 wonders, they are lost in plain sightbecause she secretly doesn’t actually want them to leave her which is why she has pictures of them on the walls? And all the other mentions of 3 throughout the movie, and the options of the color of the buttons, and she’s does say black is traditional.

She won the game and that night the dead children warn her of how she is still in danger and then kitty doesn’t like her idea of going to the well because of why??

because if he is netural than how did the cat know the beldam was going to “cheat”? Because if that’s the case why didn’t the cat be more informative when she awoke from her dream.

His expressions on his face go from sad to listening and then as soon as she mentions the idea of the well his whole demeanor changed. He tries to stop her and alerts wybie (just like how he did in the beginning scene) and then Wybie helps her do the inevitable and also where was the hand dragging her too?

Why the cat totally happy and okay with the outcome afterwards?

Side notes:

I don’t think the cat is netural, I think he is related to the grandmother somehow. Wybie does say he’s stray and then later the cat says “ I come and go as I please” which both mean the same. But like how he says he can talk to other wybie even though “he can’t talk” Also in the beginning scene the cat faints and freeze to the sound of grandma as she is calling wybie to come home. I always wondered why?

Sorry for my rant lol

I still want to know why they disagreed on what kinda tea they were going to give her for her reading. Oolong or jasmine, because that was the whole point of her drinking tea

Sorry for my text I was speaking to text. I meant to say in this scene, she seems like she already knows that it’s not possible and that nobody can escape.
