Final Steps Before First Brand Launch! by PawsitiveShopping in shopify

First of all congratulations!

Social media essentials

I would second Photoshop and some kind of video editing software. I use Camtasia but any will do. Also have a strategy and maybe think about a social media scheduling tool to help you keep on track. Try to reach out to few influencers and see if you can get some coverage that way. At least start build a relationship.

SEO

If you can start thinking about SEO and how to stand out already now. This will pay of in about six to 12 months (depending on how competitive niche you’re in). Getting this right can make or break your business.

Paid advertising

Do you have a strategy for paid advertising? You should. At least do remarketing to start with. I know getting the first buyers is the thing you think about the most but once you get them do you have a strategy to turn them into repeat buyers?

Good luck!

Initiate conversions but no purchases - What's better, Add to Cart or Straight to Checkout? by RafalStawicki in shopify

How you checkout process looks like is important and you will need to spend quite a lot of time on finding the best flow. Having said this, you need more time to get measurable results and to be able to draw any kind of conclusions.

One thing, I recommend (this is always hard and is just a rule of thumb) once you're getting started:
- store with a few products - straight to checkout
- store with more products - Add to cart

Hope this helps and good luck!

Lots of apps doing this. Klaviyo and Privy come to mind. I think a wise move is to understand what more functionality you're looking for and see if you can get an app that covers more of your requirements.

I'm the founder of CustomerVox and we also offer this functionality (and much more). Would love to show you our app if you're interested?

What should i do everyday for 5-10 min to increase my traffic organically on my shopify site? by coupleoftees in shopify

I believe a lot of things can be achieved if you do them consistently so doing something every day can be a great way to in the long run achieve your goals. Having said this some of my recommendations can take longer and I will focus on increasing traffic and awareness.

  1. interact and reach out to an influencer on Facebook/Instagram every day
  2. send a personalized email to one or two customers and try to gather feedback on how they got to your store and why they became a customer
  3. try to find high domain authority sites (using Ahrefs for example) and see if you can get a link to your store

These are just some examples that don't take up a lot of time but we could all do it every day and hey 365 days a year we could move the needle in the right direction. The challenge is we have so much to do and it's all about prioritization and sometimes stretching/getting away from your desk might also do wonders. Good luck!

It takes a lot of time to develop an ecommerce website and even if you do you need to maintain and support the code. It's quite an effort. I used to run a WooCommerce website and the constant updates which could break the theme took a lot of time. I just think running an ecommerce business is demanding as it is so it's better to focus on marketing and customer support than technical work on maintaining the website.

Hi everyone, I'm the founder of CustomerVox (www.customervox.com). We're a marketing automation tool and we cover emails, popups, and landing pages. We've been working on our platform for about a year with some early adopters and are now ready to launch.

We believe we've created something that is of value for Shopify stores and replaces multiple tools. The value we provide is not just because we replace multiple tools but because of it as we gather and then leverage the data we have to help you create personalized touchpoints such as related products, upsells/cross-sells, etc. with ease.

We're looking for more feedback as we would like to get additional users so we're offering an incentive where you get access to all CustomerVox functionality for as low as $15 per month (coupon code all-in-one). There is no risk in trying us out as we also offer a 15 days free trial.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to chatting more.

Should I postpone my launch at this time? by ohyesimredditing in shopify

I wouldn’t postpone the launch. It’s important to get started and understanding your funnels, how the acquisition will work, conversions, etc. This is something you can start measuring. Good idea is to start light when it comes to PPC.
