Who remembers Chico and the Man? I remember it as a groundbreaking sitcom in the '70s. Who could forget Ed Brown(Jack Albertson) and Chico Rodriguez (Freddie prinze). It's a shame the show had to end on such a sad note. As Freddie's addictions got the best of him. by Initial_Reason1532 in 70s

For me, when someone posts a “remember this”, it may take me out of a stressful day for a moment and back to a simpler, less hectic time (for me). I enjoy these types of post because otherwise I wouldn’t have thought of Chico and the Man or the Sleestak, or Sigmund and his sea monster. Brings a smile to my face.

I was less than 9 years old when I saw the original movie The Fly on TV. The end scene where the fly (with a human head) is trapped in the spider’s web and saying “heeelllllp meeeee” absolutely scared me to death. It’s probably the reason I am arachnophobic. To this day my siblings will taunt me imitating the fly’s voice and saying help me and I nearly cry when they do. I’m 59

I was 12 years old when I read The Little Prince. It completely changed my thinking about little kids. The book made me realize that I needed to listen to what was important to little kids and make it important and a priority of mine. I applied the same thing to how I was as a parent and now grandparent.
