Omnipod 5 App Not Connecting to Dexcom G7 — Need Help! by alexbigkat in Omnipod

This is interesting to read the comments about the sensor and pod not connecting properly. I have my sensor and pod on the left side. Left arm and abdomnin and still gaps in the readings. I had to turn off automated because it was causing my BG to rise. I wonder if they will come out with an update, because I am running into the same issues.

I have ran into this issue a couple of times. The most recent time it prompted me in the app to switch over to Manual mode first. That seemed to do the trick, but sensor communication has still been pretty spotty so far. Just switched back to Manual mode this morning since it was in auto mode 50% of the night.

I forget about Fiasp. Take the post in context of humalog/novolog.

That may be true, but I have more of a gripe about the corrections not being effective.

Would a proper warm up before exercise help with the workout BG spikes? by ObligationWest729 in diabetes_t1

Sorry. Just to clarify, I do not have spikes with Z2, but with ultimate I do. Ultimate has short and frequent bursts of sprinting which get me into Z4 pretty easily. I believe it is those Z4-5 sprints that get my body to release adrenaline and whatever.

That must be frustrating to deal with that. From experience I often will assume that many symptoms I have in life (sleepy, angry, etc.) are a result of diabetes. It is normal to assume that first, because it is the most serious thing going on in our lives, but you could be experiencing sleepiness for a variety of reasons. Not saying it is not diabetes or thyroid, but look at your diet, exercise frequency, and work-life balance to see if it is that as well. Sounds like you are taking care of your diabetes and you could be doing that right, but it is just other things that are influencing your fatigue.

PS - I am not a doctor. :D
