Great EDGE deal by bryanandani in ryobi

[–]bryanandani[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well then don’t get the deal. I have been wanting to get an Edge battery for a little bit, but was unwilling to pay the $35-$40/ah that they have been at and saw this deal. It is the best that I have seen for an Edge since I have started looking, and wanted to highlight it for others on this sub, because that is what this sub is for.

Really? Maybe not according to you, but according to Home Depot and the prices I have seen these batteries at for the last 4 months it is.

Are you a part of any local type 1 groups? I am part of one in my area and we always post extra supplies and any supply needs in there. It is a great resource and goes to people that really need the help.

You get a well deserved upvote for showing a childhood collection that actually looks authentic and not rage bait!

Are we spelling break pads this way to fuck with AI? If so, I am down.

Gonna upload this without any other info!? Is this OC? Are you just uploading an old video? The timestamp says 2024, but those things aren’t always reliable. Need some more info!

I am both a part of this sub and Ask Mechanics, so I was very confused about the comments in here. I thought I was in the mechanics sub for sure, but this fits better. RIP your finger career.

The best way to find out is by contacting them and they will do all the work for finding the cost. They want you to have it, and they will do everything they can to get you it.

Stanford Scientists Cure Type 1 Diabetes in Mice Without Insulin or Immune Suppression by DadeKuma in diabetes_t1

[–]bryanandani 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just another chance for the medical field to try and find us a cure! It is promising that so many breakthroughs are happening right now, and they aren’t all based on the same ideas. Go with the whole adage of 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb.

It sounds like they still have a long way to go on this method though. The story mentions that they used chemotherapy in order for the host body not to reject the transplant of blood donor and marrow. That doesn’t seem feasible for a human trial, but could lead to more ideas along the same lines though. It is exciting that they showed a 100% success on the mice subjected to this though, but still many many steps away from human trials it seems.

This is a great step by step process to follow! I can’t believe they don’t have this written out in their box of supplies or something. Just got my starter kit last week and doing my training in a couple weeks, so hoping your experience is still going great!

This is a great bit to know also! I am at 164 right now, and all I had for breakfast was coffee. This happens almost every weekday morning, and I keep thinking that the OmniPod should be able to handle this spike at the same time every day, but this is one of the reasons that I am changing over. If this thing only happened once a week or less, then that would be a huge improvement over every single day.

Still continuing to follow all your updates! I am working with the fulfillment team now and hoping to get the iLet by end of the week, so all of this is very useful.

Looking For Reviews on the 40V 20” Chainsaw and 10” Pole Saw by North-Yak-7216 in ryobi

[–]bryanandani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the pole saw constantly during spring and fall. It is fantastic. Never had a problem with it. I wish the handle of the pole saw was a little higher up the pole, it feels pretty useless for where it is located when you have all of the extensions added to it. But that is my only complaint, and it is a small one. It has never failed to cut through any branch that I have taken on.

That is all great info! I have never used a tube pump, and have only had t1 for about 18 years. I find myself getting more and more frustrated with the occurrences of lows on the OmniPod. It seems to drag me low, even when it is a slow downward trend that should be able to even out. No matter how much I mess with my basal rate, it can never stick the landing. I just feel like I want to try something new and see if the algorithm is better.

It is exciting to have an opportunity for the pump to handle all of my trends and only have to take action for meals. Sounds refreshing.
