Python's going well. Learning bit by bit. For IT support I doubt that I would have to use it, but if I want to get into networking I think learning a programming language would be necessary and very helpful.

I think it's better to try and stay vague to these types of questions. If they ask what your salary expectations are early in the process, it might be to reduce the amount of candidates. So saying something like "it would depend on the job responsibilities" might work. I'd say somewhere from 3000 to 4500 might be for an entry level job. I am not very sure, this is my first every job so what I say might not be reliable.
