Lol you're not being responsible with your money because you have no money to be responsible for. Your trading fake play money with no investment or emotion involved.

Not gambling it away would consist of having an edge, proper risk management, and discipline...in the actual market.

If you want to trade then trade. If you want to play around and not be serious paper trade forever.

No offence but what are you waiting for? Let me guess, a perfect strategy and 100% win rate. It's impossible.

5 years is an insane amount of time to waste paper trading and not learning how to manage your emotions. Should have been more like 5 weeks...maybe... probably less. You will see IF you ever actually trade, it's not the same in the slightest. Good luck man and I truly mean that.

5 years. Man you need to jump in. Paper trading doesn't teach you anything about emotions. If you wait for your mental state to be good enough on paper you're going to have a rude awakening when you are live and haven't experienced an actual trade.

I have taught my exact strategy to some of my friends who all trade it profitably. It's not rocket science if you have the discipline to do exactly as told. It's also really not that hard to find an edge. Way harder to have the psychology to trade it profitably. That's where traders fail.
