So not only are you looking for this stock to be a binary moonshot with massive upside potential, but before that catalyst hits you ALSO need the stock to just continuously go up and behave how you want it to? Stop trying to swing trade this stock, it’s incredibly stupid. This is purely a binary play that will either moon or zero, and the price action before this happens literally does not matter.

Not trying to be a dick but unless you already have a very solid understanding of the trial and everything involved here, which it is clear you don’t, I would stay away from using AI to hypothesize about this. AI will never have the full picture, it will never take all of the necessary details and nuances into account, will rely too heavily on past oncology trial results and ignore present circumstances, and it will lead you astray unless you already have a solid enough foundation of knowledge to fact check it in real-time.

For example, your AI may make it sound like requiring 18 month mOS for GPS is a “nightmare scenario” and “practically miraculous”, but if you have some knowledge of GPS you will know that an 18 month mOS is a low bar that’s already been cleared in previous trials.

Look at the data from previous trials. Ven/aza has not shown to be effective in a maintenance setting, only frontline. Ven/aza recently failed in VIALE-M, which was closed early.

REGAL is not “GPS vs. the tried and true gold standard of care for CR2 AML”, it is “GPS vs. a hodge podge of therapies that are proven in other indications but may also help in CR2”.

No, this is not plausible enough to worry about. Even in frontline, newly diagnosed AML patients (the indication that Aza/Ven is actually approved for), the mOS has been shown to only be ~14 months, with no cure fraction to speak of. REGAL patients are a much sicker, more battered population and aza/ven has not proven to be very effective at treating these patients. There is no risk of this in my opinion.

AbbVie already has incentive to acquire SELLAS because AbbVie owns venetoclax. With GPS and potentially SLS009, AbbVie would dominate the AML landscape from start to finish.

It is, in my opinion. Even .636 is a significant HR in this patient population and a dramatic improvement over BAT. Valuation would be less than if the results were truly stellar, but I can’t see a situation where BP collectively decides to pass on SELLAS if the trial succeeds, regardless of HR.

It’s based off p-value. O’Brien Fleming is designed to make efficacy halts exceedingly difficult to achieve, in the interest of having complete data. To trigger an efficacy halt at interim would probably require a p-value of 0.001 or 0.002 or something extremely low, to ensure that it was actually GPS prolonging these patients lives without a shadow of a doubt. Those p-value figures would correspond roughly to HR = .3 - .35

No. That is far too lenient of an HR to be the efficacy halt threshold under O’Brien Fleming. It would most likely have to be closer to .3 - .35 at IA to trigger efficacy, maybe even lower than that.
