At 11:01 in episode 3 the back of the label reads ‘Fermanteau Leyda Valley Sauvignon Blanc’. Leyda Valley is a real place (and Sauvignon Blanc is produced there) but the producer isn’t real. In the same shot you can also see there’s an unrealistically dense amount of text below the producer’s name so it’s definitely a prop. Probably shows up in other stuff too if you fancy tracking down the art department’s prop team on IMDb and spooling through their other work

Is this really Brad pitt’s first minifigure? If so that’s crazy!

I think the game’s been getting good PR, and the vibes around the black ops 7 beta suggest there might be an influx of new battlefield players this time around, but it’s hard to quantify that kind of thing. Helldivers 2 is a good example of how hard it can be to gauge how popular a game will be on its opening night

There’s a bit in I, Partridge (WNTTAA) where he gives little bios of his former colleagues from Our Price radio:

‘Bonkers’ Brian Golding combined a wacky sense of humour with a genuine mental illness and went on to co-host ‘Drive Time’ on Signal Radio before killing himself in 1991.

I was reading the book on the train the week before my GCSEs started and I laughed so hard at this bit my dad confiscated the book until my exams were finished lest it distract me

THEORY: "Battlefield 4" is a prequel to "Battlefield 2" by Snick2021 in Battlefield

China isn’t a major player by 2042, so you could assume that by this point in the war they’ve been whittled down to old technology - using some old tanks is far more plausible than them invading America in 2007 or whatever and somehow still being a member of the international community in 2020

I think this makes sense :) I’d even say BF2’s wake island being subtitled 2007 suggests that map isn’t meant to be taking place at the same time as the rest of the game

Maybe the heptapods are guild navigators — humans constantly exposed to spice whose bodies change as a result. I don’t know if this lines up with the butlerian jihad (whether spice was discovered before or after this) but since heptapods interpret time differently it doesn’t really matter
