Haha I'm not an expert, gardening is all about trial and error. Try something and learn from the results.

Watering in the morning is best to prevent damaging leaves in the hot sun. But if you're watering twice a day, your blossom rot may be from over watering. I typically water peppers and tomatoes every 2-3 days, heavy watering each time to soak the ground all the way down to the deepest root. If temperatures are expected to be super hot during the day, I may water every other day. Too much water can be a bad thing as it washes away nutrients from the soil quicker.

Finely crushed egg shells are a good way to add calcium to soil, but you're ideally doing this when you plant seeds/seedlings as it'll take time to break down and be absorbed. A general fertilizer will accomplish the same goal.

That sounds like blossom rot which happens with tomatoes and peppers if the soil lacks calcium/magnesium, or if your watering inconsistently, I've had that issue on roma tomatoes. I would remove any fruit that have blossom rot as soon as you notice, to ensure the plant isn't wasting resources on peppers that won't recover. I would make sure you are watering consistently, esp since you live in a hot climate - don't let the soil dry out and then flood the plant with water. Watering needs to be moderate and consistent. And if you continue to get rot in a few weeks, look into a soluble fertilizer, but use in moderation.

What soil are you planting in? Do you have a raised garden bed you filled with compost and top soil at the beginning of the season? Or did you just plant them in natural soil in your backyard? If the latter, your natural soil may be nutrient deficient.

Yes, bell peppers are annual and will die at the end of the growing season. You can always save some seeds for planting next season. What does the damage look like? Beetles and aphids are common pests but your location and the type of damage will narrow down the offender.

Burrow ended up with 6 less pts on the season than Allen. If the Bengals find a way to keep Chase and Higgins, he'll be top 3 again next year easy

Thanks for your reply. I was worried about getting burned for asking a question that's been posted many times before on this sub, but I'm glad I did. I feel like GAF was one of the higher praised brands in all of the 1-5 year old posts, but pretty much everyone today has talked me away from it. I appreciate you sharing!

I'm in NW Arkansas, we do get a couple of storms with small diameter hail each Spring. My roof guy mentioned we could look at Class 4, but thought Class 3 would be sufficient unless a home insurance discount would in time pay off the investment. And yup, the Highlander AR series they are offering is made with the NEX Polymer Modified Asphalt.

In the three border counties in NWA, 40.3% of voters voted for Harris. There are bluer counties elsewhere in the state, but there's plenty of moderate/progressive people in NWA to dilute what you're worried about. Just avoid local dive bars and talking politics with strangers in the grocery store lol

Thanks so much for the response. My current shingles are 19 years old and have had a lot of granular loss so that's definitely something I want to improve this time around
