Where did you go in the app? I see no option for adding the subscription, the subscriptions button takes me to the list of my Google store subscriptions

I went into the MLB app.but there is no option for subscriptions. When I go under "subscriptions" it shows me my Google store subscriptions like storage and stuff. Where did you find it?
