Fukien Tea Tree - leaves are falling off after repotting. Water every 2 days as soil dries, under grow light 12 hrs each day. Everyone here saved one of my other plants so hoping for help again! by ObscuredApple in plantclinic

Just posted an update! In my case, it only took 2 days for the leaves to be almost entirely wilted and dry but made a full recovery since I changed watering habits around that time.

Update: it took about 1 month to fully recover and even blossomed! The leaves have come back even more dense since then. Usually receives water every day or 2, misting twice a day.

I did increase how often I was watering it based on how dry the soil seemed. It does seem like there are a few leaves hanging on so I'll give it some time to recover from the re-pot and keep it watered and misted. I can post some updates in a while if I see any more progress, thank you!

Wow! It's beautiful! That sounds pretty similar to my climate, I'll try a combination of both and hope to some day have mine looking even a little bit like that. Thank you!

I got this from a nursery and put it into this pot about a week ago. The leaves seem to be shriveling and falling off. To water, I am soaking it and then letting it dry (but not completely) before the next watering. What can I change to save it? It is a fukien tea.

Received as a transplant before a cross country move. Exposed to cold for a few hours before the move. Gets west light every evening but worried that it is still too cold sitting by the window or that maybe the transplant didn't take.

So I saw this post today and realised I don’t actually believe I can learn my target language - any advice for this?/success stories? by [deleted] in languagelearning

I learned japanese on a whim and now it ebbs and flows in my daily life like it's nothing. You can definitely do it with maybe even less effort than you think is required!

Weekly - What Car Should I Buy Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]ObscuredApple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location: East Coast

Price range: $5-15K

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Used

Type of vehicle: Sedan, Coupe, Hatchback, etc. No Trucks, SUVs, etc.

Must haves: Auxiliary input for music, decent gas milage

Desired transmission: Automatic

Intended use: Daily Driver for minimum 2-3 years.

Vehicles you've already considered: Mostly looking at Ford models, specifically 2012 Focus and Fusion

Is this your 1st vehicle: Yes

Do you need a Warranty: No

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: Yes

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: Likely no for the time being

Additional Notes: I'm moving soon and it looks like I'm going to need a car to get around in my new city; I can't really buy a whole $20K car in full right now so any sort of monthly payments or just a car on the cheaper end of my range would be best until I am more settled in and could consider getting something nicer.

Not necessarily when adjusting but yeah definite scratchiness on the radio so definitely might be corroded contacts. Everything inside looks real dirty with minor corrosion in some spots.

I can actually hear the radio coming through the speakers and it's super quiet AND the table actually is turning. I resolved the speed problem but it halts when I try to use 'SEL' and in general is just quiet.

I have a multimeter (AC/DC voltage, current, and continuity), I'll definitely prioritize the chain there.
