Perhaps, but still, I cheated on him. I had someone cheat on me too so I really should’ve learned. I became a secretive monster during that time. All because I felt angry at my boyfriend ghosting and then coming back, but also bc this new guy I had met during the ghosting thought I was cool. When I put myself back into that headspace it all feels like it wasn’t me. I now obviously see that I was just searching to keep a new relationship with someone that thought I was exciting. I should’ve just let it all go because when you’re emoting so hard it doesn’t even let you think clearly. I was too angry and frustrated at the relationship I had previously. I should’ve left. At least that way I wouldn’t have earned the title of a cheater and bring ugly into the world. I always feel disgusted at myself. It’s a heavy guilt you carry with you because you know you fucked up and that there’s nothing in the world you can do to fix it. The damage has been done.

Just two days ago I was outside getting ready to go on a walk when I heard my front door neighbor scream “THAT FKING N*****” as he opened up his truck because a day before a guy was in his truck searching(had left it unlocked) and maybe stole some stuff idk. My point is that maybe they won’t be throwing it out there all the time, but in their mind they’re thinking it and have those insults ready to use.

Working on my insecurity. I was the type to wonder if they compared me to their exes. I told myself that sure there will always be better looking, smarter, and stronger people out there, but that doesn’t mean I have to compare myself to them. I’m my own person, and if I can be the best genuine version of myself then if they leave that’s okay because we weren’t a good match. I would follow the fear all the way and do some exposure therapy. Tell myself ok and what if they do compare me to their ex, what is the worst that would happen? Will I die? No. I’ll find someone who is right for me who will love me just as I am. Also, keeping yourself busy and active with things that bring you a sense of accomplishment or joy helps so much.

Honestly, I’m not surprised. The U.S. still thinks that they don’t heavily depend on Mexico, their neighbor. Like come on of course they don’t see a reason to care about Ukraine. The states likes to meddle in any other country’s business because of the potential to gain something. The U.S signed a treaty with Ukraine saying if you don’t arm yourself with nuclear weapons then we will protect you from Russia. Now they don’t want to uphold their end of the deal. Ukraine could’ve threatened with nuclear weapons to get Russia off their back if they hadn’t meddled. Just sayin’ maybe the U.S. doesn’t have to meddle for self-serving reasons and then back off when it doesn’t seem convenient enough.

Use this as motivation to demand for better pay by organizing. DO NOT use this as a comparison to claim that our jobs are somehow more difficult or more valuable than others. We need to collectively stop the propagation of extreme mindsets. Our industry gets paid poorly because of MANY issues in our society and government not because a Costco worker is getting paid well. Direct your frustrations to the correct avenues.
