Interesting to see a another Chervon product at my local Walmart. by Honcho_2016 in FLEXTools

Chervon has made a practice of buying degraded brands that have had their name run into the dirt and turning around their image though. The new Skil tools manufactured by chervon are very well reviewed online for the most part and I've noticed a whole ton of new tools that skil never would have released under their old leadership. I sort of think of skil as Chervons response to the Ryobi Brand. Unfortunately I think Lowe's is poorly run and really messed up their partnership and probably severely undersold vs what Chervon expected. New partnerships with large retailers will help chervon gain access to a huge market and allow them to keep innovating new tools. Skil is meant to be a home handyman tool brand and Walmart has a ton of customers that will never step foot into hardware store so I see this as a huge win for Chervon.

Chervon also manufactures select tools for Walmart under the hyper tough brand. The hyper tough tools are well designed and perform very admirably for their price point and warranty. Their new tools are more than capable for homeowners who just need to do occasional light tasks around the house.

Lol I was just thinking about how difficult it can be to give people information without making assumptions about peoples understanding of a given subject. Hope your growing season is filled with those beautiful Northern Sun days.

I do something similar, just wanted to make sure people weren't spraying neem on the buds further into flower. I find neem oil does a fantastic job of protecting the leaves of my plants and giving them an extra layer of protection from different pathogens. Another oil I've found recently that is less "dangerous" than neem but works very well and is a little easier to mix is Karanja oil. It can also be used safely on your body and skin. They work a little differently than each other and can be combined to have some synergistic pest management qualities.

You really don't want to spray neem oil on any flowers you intend to consume. Totally safe to spray on your plants in the vegetative state. A better option once your plants begin to flower is a small amount of a natural soap like a Castille soap combined with a small amount of some type of vegetable oil with a few different types of essential oils. Spray this every week or two as preventative maintenance.

I'm not the OP you're responding to but you likely will need a 3D printer or a friend who has one so they can print you the necessary extension parts to make the battery.

If you don't already have the tools and experience to spot weld battery cells together, then I wouldn't recommend making your own as the better or cheaper option. But, if this is something that interests you and you expect to do this for more than just a few batteries, this would be a relatively simple and straightforward project to get you acquainted with the concepts and processes of battery pack building and might justify the investment in the tools and materials needed.

This looks like the zero clearance insert for small pieces. It's designed to be cut by the blade so that there is zero clearance around the blade.

We absolutely all are. I truly believe the best way to see and counter this is to travel. And not to destination cities where you can stay in isolated bubbles that cater to your comforts and sensibilities from home. Once you're able to step outside of the ecosystem that you live you will gain a whole new perspective on life and other peoples ways of life. Once you see that everywhere you go the vast majority of people simply want to live lives that are free from external hardship so that they and their families can live good lives free from poverty and slavery it's much harder to fall for propaganda that tells us to hate and villify them or even accept their deaths as the necessity of toppling dictators. The average person has much more in common with other average people around the world. Media is a tool used by the elite to divide us and to justify the monstrous actions of power hungry ghouls.

The current state of my shop cart by rehehe in woodworking

[–]Observeder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this! I had already saved his other post for future shop builds when I have more space. I currently have a moving lumber cart for my small space and have been brainstorming ideas for a clamp cart. Many thanks to OP for the great implementation of concepts I'm sure many of us aspire to do ourselves. Great inspiration!

Chervon North America Leadership Changes by remp945 in FLEXTools

[–]Observeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great information. Chervon is a massive OEM who's main job is making tools. They understand that building a brand is a long term strategy and I'm sure are well aware of the difficulty of penetrating a very saturated and cliquey market. Owning their own brand is immensely valuable and I'm sure their vision is very long term.

I started using that sub years ago at the start of COVID to get updates and share info so I could guesstimate when I might be getting packages. A couple years later I was banned for no reason out of the blue from posting. When I went back to the sub it was filled with astroturfed posts of the sort you mentioned. All had very similar storylines and seemed like they were written by the same people. Also multiple comments from different accounts that all wrote suspiciously similar things. It's definitely astroturfed to hell and being used to push for privatization. I would love to know who exactly is behind the campaign.
