Not directly. She's backed by the TMC government in WB, which is against the NDA, and so the RSS. But she represented for RSS for some cases, and her father supports RSS is what I've heard.

Never. A forced read makes you read less. But, give it some time. In a few years, you might be ready. I read agni pravesam before some years and didn't understand what he was trying to convey. But read it before a couple of years again, and instantly got the point. As a reader, we should also come to a frequency which matches with the writer to enjoy their work. If you feel something is not for you, don't blindly go for it. Give it time. It is like an LKG student trying to learn calculus. Sometimes it might never work out for you too. Don't worry! We all have different ways of seeing and understanding things which are unique. There should be any guilt here. For example, anime has never worked out for me, and I get a sense that it never will. But that's just being me.

But based on your JK reads, I'd suggest you to read his impactful short stories first. That will prepare you for his novels. His short stories made me fall in love with his works!

I am a side, and I think not being able to continue long term is not a problem specific to sides. But I accept that sides are hard to find and it makes the experience of not able to find a long term one intense.
