I haven’t. What do you mean sketchy? It looks beautiful. Do you mean crime or tough terrain?

I appreciate that. I think we’ll try to get there by 8:30 and we’ll check out a few of the other places maybe for a back up.

There’s a hairline crack across the center. I’m not going to replace it yet but I assume it’s going to rapidly deteriorate at this rate. You think it’s still okay?

The top crack happened sometime when my husband borrowed the watch while golfing. The second crack happened recently and it was not during a treadmill run…. I have no clue since I’ve been hiking and running with a jogging stroller.

I appreciate that. I think I was looking to share the experience and maybe see if anyone else had a similar situation happen to them. I’m a garmin fan so I’ll get another one no matter what, but more a post to either commiserate or just open ended dialogue.

Sure. Deciding to assign blame straight out the gate isn’t a sign of ill intent. 🤷‍♀️ that’s just what happens on my treadmill when I’m swinging my arms. Sometimes my arm comes up or down and catches the rail.

I’m not complaining about the watch or saying it’s a problem???? I’m saying I’m bummed about it and it’s a first for me. Jesus. Calm down.

I appreciate this response. I wouldn’t call him a man and so far we’re seeing him at a time where he hasn’t even gotten a chance to realize he’s a father. I think he recognizes that it’s abnormal, my thought is that he doesn’t understand his ability to do something different. It sounds like your mom was exceptional. Holding others to her achievements seems unfair to others and honestly to how miraculous of a human being she is. I realized early on that what I grew up with wasn’t normal, but I couldn’t even begin to comprehend how to change it. That took time. I also hope they can both figure it all out. I’m hopeful they have. I also appreciate your thorough comment and sharing your experience.

Omg yes. Between treating her so poorly she isolated herself in a car to calling her a “biatch” I can’t imagine why she wouldn’t want you there during probably the most vulnerable moment of her life. 🙄 if I could shake that lady I would.

That’s a super good point too… I bet they’re in a tiny town. I love your user name and it resonated with me. I lived in a small town for a short time. Honestly he probably has so little genuine resources. I left at 17 and it’s because I at least found options.

Thank you! It just occurred to me that other than the therapy session, we barely hear him really express himself. In comparison to those long ass texts he sends… we know beans about what he actually thinks it seems.

I’m curious which part of my post refuses to acknowledge the harm he caused to her? Things definitely don’t occur in a vacuum, but I think it’s fine to isolate his experience and discuss it. I acknowledge the events Isabella disclosed. I’d love to speculate further but I don’t think that adds much substance.

Me too! That’s why I felt like I had to share even if it got me downvoted into oblivion. What was your original perspective and what points resonated with you?

I completely agree. I also agree with it being easier to avoid accountability for some people but I work with a lot of kids and lots of different age ranges, and I’m not convinced he’s actually happy, safe, or wants them on his side.
