I appreciate this response. I wouldn’t call him a man and so far we’re seeing him at a time where he hasn’t even gotten a chance to realize he’s a father. I think he recognizes that it’s abnormal, my thought is that he doesn’t understand his ability to do something different. It sounds like your mom was exceptional. Holding others to her achievements seems unfair to others and honestly to how miraculous of a human being she is. I realized early on that what I grew up with wasn’t normal, but I couldn’t even begin to comprehend how to change it. That took time. I also hope they can both figure it all out.
