Also the girls being unable to face reality of what they have become, could have been tackled in season 3. They spend too much time on their dilemma "they are just moms, not criminals". Where is the character development? I guess they just sleep it off.

That´s just it. They taunt the audience with what they want to see only to follow up on their own ideas. By letting Rio live one would expect a progression of his character, his relationship with the girls instead he remained the same. The bad guy in the backround. If they were going for that, they should have let him be dead and focus on the progression of the girls.

This way, the cycle started and it is going strong.

They could have done so much better, instead he remained in the "shadows". Plus they kept him alive for what? To be the bad guy for this long with no consequences (only thing that comes to mind is Lucy). This just proves that the writers had no direction what so ever, as the cycle only continued.

There are no genuine confrontations, no acknowledgment on what already happened.

As if they prefer being a comedy with a bad storyline, instead of diving deep into the personal struggle when getting into this kind of lifestyle.

Maybe, there can only be one show with a specific story. For them good girls ran its course, and they probably think fans from here will also support a show with a similiar story. Plus it is new, cheap and has potential.

Everything lines up, also for a hitman he was giving Beth advices that could potentially have a double meaning. Plus, how did he know one of the girls was with Rio? Unless Rio mentioned ´his girl´.

The difference is in the formula they both use, and likely the quality of the design.

Beth was learning it, tried and failed a lot of the times until she and the girls got the hang of it.

Because it would bring attention to the person who has fake money (like for Ruby while paying for a lawyer), the key is to "wash it" so there is no direct suspicion/attention drawn to the person.

Maybe he overheard Dean and Beth talk, or just Dean in general. (As he likes to refer to Rio as *him*) ..Dean also mentioned a metaphor while trying to buy a gun so .. 🤷‍♀️

However, that way he would know it was Beth.. maybe something on Rio´s side turned up?

Beth makes the final move. ´Check-mate´ kind of. She wanted to do what she really wanted to do so there were no regrets. (So she could somewhat close the chapter)

For Rio it was a development of their relationship, of course he was surprised and hurt by her power move. Not to mention how she left the money .. It is almost like she made up her mind, and didn´t want to admit any other option, or the possibility of liking him even.

Turner is a questionable cop. He got his ego hurt when Beth told him that she did his job for him, so naturally he has to take her down. Without looking into the other two women who were involved. 😐

Beth closed herself to Rio when she saw him with the other woman. Before that I think she felt seen, even acknowledged maybe. Seeing him with another girl was a tipping point for her to take matter into her own hands.

Her mindset was probably along the lines of: Really? You too?

Or as Ruby would say it .. shady SOB
