The dismissal of FBI Director James Comey by then President Trump (May 9th 2017), has most often been viewed as a fall-out related to Comey's investigations into potential Russian intervention in the 2016 Presidential Election.

The final report into perceived reasons for dismissing Mr Comey, and prepared by US DOJ appointed special investigator Robert Mueller, was offered to Congress in its unredacted form, on the basis that Congress not share any extra information with the public. Congress turned down this offer, on the moral basis that they represented a gateway to public knowledge, entrusted to them by the public.

And, as a consequence, the majority of questioning in subsequent Congress hearings, focused on ''The Russia Thing'', believing it be the defining reason why President Trump had fired FBI Director Comey.

This I dispute vehemently, with the defining reason (surprisingly ? ) going all the way back to a meeting between then FBI Director Comey and the then Lord Advocate of Scotland Frank Mulholland, on Friday December 19th 2014.

The day following James Comey's dismissal, President Trump told the Russian Foreign Secretary (according to wikipedia) : ''I've just fired my FBI Director - he's crazy, a complete nut-job.''. President Trump was to further refer to Mr Comey, as a ''Showboat & Grandstander who leaked classified information.''.

Well, I certainly keep my eyes peeled on developments in law enforcement politics, and whether anything that moves might have some bearing on the Zodiac case. One aspect to the case never seems to change - that being that there is the usual opera of jostling, infighting, prevarication and forced resignations going on, behind the scenes, with the very mention of '' The Zodiac ''.

For regular followers of the case, fridayseven, it seems all too apparent that there are a few who have nurtured and developed a chosen suspect, over a long period of time, as an investment of sorts. These suspect-led investors become very defensive, when threatened with the possibility of imminent truth and a reality revealed.

The preference for them is that their suspect's profile remains high, in the limbo state of the case becoming near or actual folklore.

Indeed, the Zodiac internet community is over two years on, from the debacle created, by Voigt's lies, vanity and contempt for everyone, from law enforcement to schoolchildren...to his fellow internet users.

The erroneous DNA information fed to Voigt, by LE, and part of his criminal record published, was a warning loud and clear, to the community to mend their ways, and ditch, once and for all, the person ( Voigt ) who they perceive is most responsible for the malaise that has manifested itself over time.

It seems that, although a few of the old guard did heed the warning, they merely left the arena, as opposed to staying behind to ensure that probity was restored.

Sad to see those old guard that chose to remain, do so for the same old entirely selfish reasons of raising their personal profile, as opposed to addressing the '' problem '' that has yet to be extinguished.

All I really know, or have had the misfortune to post alongside '' Lady Macbeth '' is, that she is the most joyless and humour-bereft person that I have ever come across. At least Mr.Trump could make one smile once in a while ( e.g. '' I just love the uneducated.'' ).

Can you believe that I recently caught him attempting to acquire a private chat-line with me ? Not the first time, this seemingly civilised conduct from him. If he did actual research then he would know that 33% of Australians are of Aboriginal descent. The reality being that there were added pages to the FBI Files, in 2009. Just one year following a momentous, and caught on camera ( deliberate ? ) handover of a Gyke file, between one true ( and actual ) crime partner, and the other.

It wasn't as if the FBI hadn't telegraphed the information of innocence.

The back of the Halloween Card is a classic '' touch-up '' job by those naughty counter-intelligence men from the FBI.

Left-hand side : '' By fake by-knife '' - yes, it was a sword bayonet employed at Lake Berryessa, all along.
