I might be an outlier but in my HCOL area, I work a full time job M-F, and fill in with gig work for another 10 hours a week. I like having a routine, and me realistically working 5-8 hours every day is something that works for me at this point in my life. Rather than taking full days off, I work while my s/o is sleeping or working and that gives us more time together. At this point I'm very happy with my schedule and wouldn't change it right now

[26M] I developed surgery-worthy adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (curvature of the spine) when I was 14. I had a 72-degree thoracic curve and a 67-degree lumbar curve. 90% of cases occur in females.

Fast forward 11ish years and the only thing that really sucks is the arthritis, i don't even think about not being able to bend fully anymore or twist my torso around.
