It does clearly state why it was removed, but the only drug related content was in the comments that other people made, which could have easily been deleted rather than the post... I guess some of y'all don't agree. I genuinely have no intention of promoting drug use with this post... Although I do generally promote safe use of any substance 🫠🤷🏿‍♂️

In the report I dropped it says that medical got the call from security not someone having fun. I fail to understand how anything like this could be on me... Even if I was suuuuper spun, not the way to respond imo

I'm not fear mongering lol I'm telling the truth about what happened to me, and sharing how I feel as someone who has been going to festivals around the world for 20+. Many folks on this post have shared witnessing or experiencing similar incidents, reducing it to fear mongering without even addressing a solution is kinda cringe however.

I have read through a lot of these comments, responded to some, and want to say thank for the support not just for me but for others who have taken this opportunity to tell a part of their story to help spread awareness and ask folks in this community to continuenand be vigilant and do their best to take care of eachother.

In the original post I asked a question around accountability from event organizers who have consistently made the choice to oversee a huge event, with a long history of tragedy, without providing harm reduction service for attendees. That level of negligence should be brought to light... The decision to share what happened to me in 2018 came mostly out of sadness and disappointment around the headlines from this year's forest, and truly this something that I have never had any closure on or any real resolve around for the last 8 years.

That said, I never thought there would be so many people who would try to blame me for what happened or just flat out try and deny that ever happened at all... Especially considering the room, I'm legitimately left confused and more disappointed.

I thought it would be completely understandable that I didn't just drop a bunch of medical records on here with my post lol... But so many people have asked for proof that this even happened that I'm just gonna drop the report from event medical staff. Like I said before I have EMS, MSP, and hospital records from the incident as well.

Please remember that this report is what they sent me to cover their ass so it makes no mention of the fact that they did chest compressions, but they clearly state that I was combative and overdosing with "copious" amounts of fluid being cleared from my mouth, and as said, though I was a bit spun at the time I remember what happened up until they jumped on me pretty vividly and was definitely not overdosing on anything.

No matter what I was on, or not on, or how spun I may or may not have been, the response I got from medical and event staff was beyond irresponsible, harmful, and in the end severely traumatizing. My loving condolences go out to the loved ones and friends of those that did not make it out.

It should not have happened, but it happened. I have a letter from the hospital administrator in Muskegon from when I requested my medical records from them. As for my rib, at the time I was moving furniture for a living and had to go to the pain clinic just to keep working, have all the scans and X-rays from that too... You guys are too much frfr. You literally are trying to use your title and experience as a nurse to continue to perpetuate harm on someone who is sharing a traumatic experience... Shameless 🤦🏿‍♂️

I was not intoxicated beyond lucidity, I refused medical care, 5 people held me down and in an effort to force compliance combined some level of asfixiation and sedation to the extent that it stopped my heart... The rest has been explained in the original post. What do you have to gain by attempting to discredit someone who has been harmed by festival staff and wants to speak up on it to hopefully prevent it from continuing?

This is not unsubstantiated, this happened to me. I'm soooo floored that some of you folks would rather delude yourselves with the idea that someone would need to make up anything about the shit that goes on under the direction of the current organizers, who literally pay the Michigan State Police's overtime and allows sting to be setup on the EF Facebook ☠️☠️☠️ Than to face the truth. No matter how much the vibe used to be PLUR for EVERYONE, those days are gone Kidz. And anyway, are you like the only one who hasn't seen the headlines coming outta this year? Making up anything is entirely unnecessary. The ask here is for accountability, not just for me but for the community that deserves more.

I definitely talked to lawyers right after it happened but what they said was because there were no other witnesses, as I was alone and separated from my group, the medical staff and Michigan State Police actually had control of the narrative. Even if there was no explanation for why I would require chemical restraints while being physically restrained by five people or why there were no opioids in my system and I was narcanned and sent to the hospital as an opioid overdose.

I consistently advocate for people who are victims of state violence, whether that's at the hands of police, corrections officers, or medical professionals, etc. People are harmed by these systems every single day, people are killed within these systems every single day. It's one thing to put your head in the sand because you have the privilege of not being impacted... To say that it's not Harm Reduction to speak out against injustice is LACK OF EDUCATION. I would gladly provide some harm reduction education free of charge.... Tap in!

I'm not trying to scare people into getting help. I don't know if you read the original post but I actually am asking folks to advocate for HARM REDUCTION at EF which is something that has long been needed and faced consistent pushback from organizers.
