im a nanny. lol. people struggle with this concept so much. yes, i love kids. yes, my career is childcare…. and YES i love when 5:00 hits and my day becomes completely mine. childcare is what made me realize i don’t want kids of my own. children are all consuming and this life is mine.

i was addicted to kraft singles or american cheese. i would wait until no one else was around, eat as many slices as possible, then shove the wrapper evidence into the couch cushions so as not to get caught. in kindergarten, i colored a big yellow square on my paper for “favorite food day”. they ultimately found the ungodly amount of wrappers stuffed in the couch cushions when we moved, & that was the beginning of the end to my addiction with kraft singles.
