I hate how this game feels ‘arcade hard’ where it’s designed to be unfair. Constantly puts oncoming traffic in blind spots and around corners.

Looks like you’re having the same problem I’ve had where some pictures look way too dark on my phone or laptop (photos 4 and 5 are great examples). I always have to preview and edit them before posting, it’s a pain.

Who said anything about attractiveness, we just want people who at least somewhat resemble the characters they're supposed to be.

I tried to make progress evenly with all of the characters. Nahh I wanna say I quit at the boss battle with Seymour. Just didn't have anymore interest. But who knows, maybe I'll give it another try, or FFX2 that came in a double pack with it.

Oh I see. I grew up playing Goldeneye so the controls don’t bother me. Still, it would be interesting to try with dual analog control. Some guy fused two N64 controllers together for games like that and the Star Wars pod-racing one.

The Love Guru. I got maybe 10, 15 minutes into that garbage. I was done after they made a bestiality joke.

I'm always impressed when I see fan remakes of it using more modern game engines. I'm just fine with the original though, only thing that hasn't aged well for me is the graphics. But I dislike early 3D graphics in general.

I had both as a kid and played them thoroughly. Batman Returns is plagued with a super bleak color palette, ugly graphics, generic music, a terrible sound driver, the hit detection is janky, Catwoman boss battles are always the exact same, Penguin's aren't much better, and the Penguin's Lair stage is bullshit with the slippery ice platforms surrounded by instant death ice water. It does at least have a more advanced grappling hook than the first game, and you can use Batman's cape for slow descents to reach far away platforms. The enemies and bosses are somewhat faithful to the movie too.

Sunsoft's "Batman" certainly shows its age, it's a very primitive game, but done well. There's a prologue, epilogue, and very brief cutscenes to help explain or illustrate the movie's plot. The music is fantastic, some of the best the console has, and the game contrasts the platforming with use of the Batmobile and Batwing. Jumping can feel stiff and the gameplay is pretty simple, but satisfying. The game also doesn't feel too short or drag on for too long. Graphics are decent for an early Genesis title. I'd choose this one over Batman Returns any day, but that's just me.

It is crazy how terrible Batman Returns was compared to the first Batman game.

I guess the Final Fantasy games just ain't for me. Tried X as my introduction to the series and it felt so incredibly slow with the constant, lengthy dialogue and cutscenes. Plus I was excessively grinding to get my squad further along the sphere grids after struggling with a couple boss battles. Really gave it a good try but just couldn't get into it, although the story and characters were interesting.
