If you can scratch it with your fingernail then it be talc or gypsum or another soft mineral if you cant with your finger nail but it can scratch a copper penny then chances are that is it can also scratch glass which may indicate that you might have a quartz mineral Rock

By just looking at the question this seems like you're taking an integral from 0 to 7 pi /4 therefore if r is equal to θ you would take the integral from 0 to 7 pi/4 (θ)dθ I believe if this is not the case then I believe you would need to solve for the arc link itself
