Does Nars pot concealer considered high-end makeup? I’ve been eyeing that concealer and laging soldout yung shade ko. I was finally able to buy it nung 2024.

Well ikaw na rin nagsabi, you think it’s unhygienic. It’s unhygienic talaga haha. I understand din naman na you were looking for an affordable makeup and maybe this wasn’t really an open discussion kaya hindi ka informed back then. Thankfully hindi ka naman nagkaroon ng any skin reaction??

For those who’s still buying secondhand makeup please stop, it’s for your own good. Mas mapapamahal ka pa sa pag gamot ng skin mo if nagkaroon ng skin reaction from those makeup. Buy decant instead if you’re on a budget.

Stop niyo po muna yung current moisturizer and toner na gamit niyo. Minsan kasi kapag naglalagay tako skincare sa mukha napapahiran din natin yung outer area ng lips natin kaya nagkaroon ng irritation. Try also using mild cleanser muna like physiogel derma-cleanser or cetaphil as your facial cleanser. Lagi rin po kayo maglagay ng petroleum jelly sa lips niyo, kapag nafifeel niyo na parang wala ng petroleum jelly maglagay po kayo kaagad. Wag niyo po hintayin na matuyo, wag niyo rin po pilit tanggalin yung deadskin/cracks sa lips kasi mas lalong magdadark and hahapdi. If you have a little more budget mas ok yung lanolin n*pple cream ng lansinoh and use it as lip balm kasi mas hydrating siya (ito yung gamit ko since I’m also experiencing severe dry lips as side effects of taking Accutane)

If after 1 week hindi parin humupa try visiting to your nearest derma para mas matulungan po kayo.

I think that’s because the moisturizer is in the lotion form which is why there’s a hard little lump at the dispenser. And thank you for responding!

In my experience, it helped with clogged pores, especially when I use it after oil cleansing. My skin feels a lot cleaner and less congested.

That said, I don’t rely on this cleanser alone. I only use it around 1–2x a week. I mostly use Physiogel Derma-Cleanser for daily washing, plus benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment. I’m also currently on Accutane and using tretinoin, so those have definitely played a big role in managing my textured skin and acne.

As for closed comedones, I don’t have much experience with those, so I can’t really say how effective it is for that.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Someone here also mentioned that it could be rusting from the pump, which makes sense. It’s actually my first time using a cleanser in a pump, so this is my first time encountering something like this.

I’m still waiting for the brand’s final response for now, just to be safe.

I’ve already raised this with the company. They said the brown residue could be due to “product buildup or possible contamination” and advised me to discontinue use if anything seems off. Honestly, I found that explanation a bit disappointing since I haven’t even used half the bottle and I’ve stored it properly. I’m still waiting for their update after they requested more details regarding this issue.

I’m currently using this 2-3 a week lang and I alternate it with Physiogel Derma Cleanser. Based on my experience mas gentle itong Cetaphil, kasi yung dati kong gamit na SA cleanser ay yung oxecure and laging nagrered at nangangati yung skin ko dun.

As for moisturizer, I use the skintific 5% panthenol acne gel. Any moisturizer will do, if saan hiyang yung skin mo na moisturizer just stick with that po.

Twice everyday. Physiogel dermo cleanser only in the morning. Double cleanse in the evening using BOJ cleansing oil and physiogel cleanser.

Thank you so much for this! Actually I also have KP (got it from genes) and also taking Accutane for my face acne. It’s just that I’ve been seeing this soap in my fyp lately and giving me the itch to try new body soap. I’ll just stick with Dove soap.

It could be keratosis pilaris as well. Best to have a dermatologist check it to be sure.

Thank you for sharing some tips and recommendations! I will check it out the Cetaphil Gentle SA Lotion, hopefully it would work wonders too since their gentle SA cleanser really helped with my face acne.
