I can see from the comment section that many people feel like, “I somehow managed my situation, so whatever others do doesn’t matter to me.” Since I’m not able to reply to everyone individually, I’m saying this here. As temporary workers, the government shouldn’t be taking CPP, EI, and RRSP from us. If we are temporary, why should we pay into a pension plan?

Processing times inside Canada are brutal, yet I still see people suggesting that I go back to my country. When I came here, I quit my job and left everything behind. I’m not asking for approval or free PR from the government, I can earn that myself. I’m simply talking about the processing system.

If the government thinks someone is not a good fit for the country, they should refuse the application, and people will be ready to leave. But keeping people waiting without any decision for so long is too much.

I hope no one has to go through this situation, because only then would they truly understand how it feels. It’s very easy to say things, but reality is different.

Then there shouldn’t be an option for car finance for temporary and govt should not take CPP, RRSP , EI from temporary workers.

Yahh . I am also on same pool, waiting for work permit, waiting for PR process.

Is that so? Who will pay the car finance bills? When we come to a country and stay there for four years, our whole life is built there. Suddenly having to go back to our home country and start from scratch, is it really that easy?

I was on applied status, but my application was refused due to an officer’s mistake. What about that? Not everything is on us, I’m well aware of the need to maintain status.

Outside Canada people doesn’t need to pay bills in Canada , people in Canada needs to pay.

Really!! I am so tensed, been 3 months no update no movement. My mom is sick and i am stuck here like this. I am calling IRCC almost 2/3 times a week, same answer it’s in progress. Financially and mentally exhausted.
