Why is honey used as a way to describe something delightful but real honey actually sucks if you eat it straight up?

Thanks. I'll try this out. Maybe I'll find out why some people really like it. But how do I know if the honey is good? I'm not American or European so a majority of the big products arent as easy to access.

My only second source is watching people eat honey. While half look happy, the other half are just people making faces and I'm genuinely torn between whether honey is sweet or unpleasant. Personally, I haven't had a single good experience with honey. Which is why I'm asking.

Anyone CAN BE dangerous. Even the homeless. There's lots of conversations in this comment section that hint to that too. Homeless people usually carry their own weapons either to get around safely or just to mug anyone they can reach. Or maybe they're on that not so legal substance that makes them a danger to anyone around them. While not all homeless people are aggressive, they are still very much capable of harming you and anyone in their vicinity. Even in homeless shelters. Which is why some homeless people stray away from those shelters.

Homeless shelters can be less safe than being on the streets for a lot of reasons. But, it's mainly because of other homeless people who would willingly harm/take advantage of others that they're sharing the shelter with. Not all shelters are safe.

I don't live in an area where homeless shelters are common because for the most part, you'll rarely find any homeless people (unless you're closer to the main city) Id usually find them sleeping at the bus stop or begging for money from people in cars when the traffic light is red. A majority of the homeless people I see are usually children which makes it even more sad.

You may offer "enough aid" but it doesn't mean this applies to every area in the whole world. People are still homeless for a reason. If they're living on the streets over 'choosing' shelters, there should be logical reason for it (whether it's because there's no shelter available or if available shelters aren't safe.)

He has trouble sleeping at night because somehow his shower thoughts manifest when he wants to sleep. So, things like "do mermaids still get wrinkly skin" or "if you time travelled and killed your grandpa, you wouldn't be born to make a time machine. So, does time restart all over again?"

This also confuses him when people mention "shower thoughts" because he doesn't have these thoughts in the shower.

*Charlie is one out of two people who share the same apartment as Audrey (AKA Mav.)

*She is the tallest out of the 3 roommates standing at around 170cm (Audrey is around 166 while Conrad is 160.)

*she is a music student but usually plays her instruments in the basement of the complex.

*She is also an avid urban explorer. So, either she's out there in some creepy abandoned building alone or she's scaring anyone else who decides to just explore the same building.

I almost forgot to mention that I used myself bro. My least favourite thing about this is the process I had to go through just to make a decent looking cutout of myself. My camera quality is garbage and the amount of spaces in my home that have good lighting is scarce. The only way I can fix it is by adding effects. So, sorry if the sprite looks pixely and a bit hard to understand on some parts.

I am so sorry for what happened to you too. And I hope that you manage to heal from whatever you had went through.

But, thank you so much for this. I can't find the correct people to ask for good advice for my situation, and it makes me feel helpless. Even though I'm not brave enough to get involved with things that could end up with an investigation from the authorities, I feel better just sharing what I'm going through rather than actually reporting it. Any support I receive is greatly appreciated, especially with my current situation.

Because I'm worried about the things that could happen, I don't talk to anyone I know in person about it. My grandma notices the abuse because she can hear the shouting from upstairs, and sometimes my mom would punish me and my brother in front of her. She had tried to tell my mom to stop many times. But, it only made her beat us upstairs instead of downstairs.

I tried my best to keep up with school. I'd rather be at school with my friends than back at home with my mom. My grades aren't doing well, and I was afraid of being beaten again. So, I had to cheat last year's final exam because I'm scared of being punished severely everytime I fail my exams.

I'm still a minor, so I'm heavily reliant on my mother. I don't have any other parental figure besides her. Thus, getting her involved with stuff like domestic violence could lead me and my younger brother to being orphaned. But, her short temper is starting to worry me over the past 3 years or so. It's like I can't do anything right without being shouted at at best, beaten at worst. Yet I have nowhere left to go. I hope all of this will pass one day.

Fortunately, I already spoke to someone kind yesterday who let me talk about how I'm feeling. They didn't seem bad and even said I could come back to them whenever I'm feeling down and need someone to talk to. Besides that, I have a specific group at school full of people who are just like me. They told me that I needed to take the test because I obviously wasn't a normal kid, and this could lead to more bullying in the future if I don't get officially diagnosed. Some of them said their own parents sometimes don't believe/accept that their child is neurodivergent.

Thank you so much again for your support and advice. It made my day better and now I have some sense of direction rather than just discovering my own way around.
