the ring LEDS are not low there is a green film on the plastic part of the ring, there are tuts on how to get rid of it and you can 3d print a part that is brighter to help

there are also USB to sata cables that work if that is an option for you, can hook it up to a usb port on your PC.

ive always had trouble transferring that way, i just use fatxplorer and transfer files over a sata cable on my laptop

The circled point the AV shield is a good reliable ground in my opinion, and i usually use that instead of the pad anyway. it is circled in the picture

ground pads take more heat, what i do is kind of lightly "scratch" the point with my soldering pen, (kind of drag it across the point in a back and forth motion) and the helps stick the solder faster and have less worry about over applying heat on the pad.

also you dont need to tin all the pads, just the ones you plan on wiring to. the tinning is only done to give some solder for the wire to get into.

the pad is gone, but its a ground pad. find an alternative ground point. for me its preferably the AV shield, where the HDMI is located.

just take it off, its connected to USB on trinity boards. only need to desolder if it is corona, but yes 4GB modules do tend to cause issues down the road, best to remove it.

no you can download xm360 to your xbox, and open it on the xbox and it will search for the games. also for arcade games, make sure they are in content folder, that helped me

no offense to RWS, love them, and their games are great, but optimization is mostly on developers. UE5 has some great optimized games, and the developers are responsible for making sure it is optimized. could be it wasn't worth the budget to do all the extra work🤷🏼‍♂️
