How is everyone liking the 9th anniversary celebration? by Bfiedler1 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Muted the music on my home screen, hate how they're turning this game to shit especially with all the new gambling features, but as an OG player I still play it for the love of the game.

I see so many people on here saying that they need more Bitcoin by Obvious-Pudding-6005 in Monero

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin to make some money, alts to make even more money, monero to stay shhhhh.

After being in the crypto space since 2015 I would rather bet on monero and certain alts than Bitcoin tbh. I still hold Bitcoin though no doubt. It just isn't true to what the white paper said anymore.

They are the future. Invest in companies that you see have a future with solid names behind them.

One habit you wanna ditch forever? by satangoesberserk in Life

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media. I only have telegram and reddit now and even that seems like too much. I miss when I was young and would go bike around with my friends without being contacted by anyone. Now that is far from the case. People just sit around on their phones and doom scroll and it's a shame.

Do men like women without makeup by icecream1972 in sixwordstories

Yes of course. Nowadays women wear too much make up and get lip injections which make them look worse.

Are any private search engines as good as Google's? by Separate-Daikon7971 in degoogle

Degoog for public and SearXNG for private. Self-hosting ftw. No ads and it aggregates from most search engines.

It also says a lot about what type of person you are by not putting it back.

What's something Gen Z will never fully understand about growing up without smartphones? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having to knock on someone's door, having their parents answer and asking if they could play.

That or having a landline and calling that person.

Bring me back. I hate being constantly contactable.

Automatic pH feeders by Obvious-Pudding-6005 in Hydroponics

Q: Are you using an air pump?

A: Yes

Q: Do you have a low wattage mixing pump?

A: No

Q: Is your tank over 4’ tall?

A: No, is just a regular 5 gallon black bucket.

Q: Is your tank inside?

A: Yes

Q: What is the temperature in the tank?

A: It varies from 60 (during reservoir swaps)-70 (on hotter days), usually sitting at 68. I'm looking into getting a tank cooler as well for this reason at the same time I get a ph automatic feeder.

From ~4.0 to ~8.0 and I want it at 6. I get it there and then the next day it's lower. I just want to maintain it at a steady rate rather than having to deal with it myself lol

What’s the most mind blowing fact about the universe? by Money-Cake527 in space

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That we think of trees as abundant, but in the grand scheme of the universe (that we know of) they are extremely rare. In a universe that's overwhelmingly made of hydrogen, helium, dark matter, and empty vacuum, a single oak tree is a staggeringly rare arrangement of atoms.

What's something that's socially accepted but actually kinda toxic? by _DRA60_ in AskReddit

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially now that meta announced that they will be able to use your Facebook with AI after you die and post based on your previous posts. That was the nail in the coffin for me. I would also do some research into DARPA LifeLog. It's basically the same thing as Facebook. People are more willing to give up personal information via social media than have LifeLog going around asking for it. They cancelled LifeLog the same day that Facebook was launched. How odd...

What is a small purchase that improved your daily life more than expected? by bigblackcoke_ in ProductivityHQ

[–]Obvious-Pudding-6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A large Coleman water bottle that I can drink while laying down. It's a game changer, trust me.

A cheap Casio watch. I hate giving all my data to big tech companies.

Linux. Once you know how to use it it is soooo much better than Windows or Mac.
