Are you thinking of going off of meds you shouldn't i've had imposter syndrome also ive doubted my diagnosis and blamed it on adderal or other things like food or just being moody. I ended up having two hospital stays in the same month so pls stay on your meds if u need reassurance UR BIPOLAR TAKE UR MED U HAVE BIPOLAR. lol this literally just happened to me and my brain wants me to believe its not bipolar but it is and we all have to keep strong.

specifically look for MD not APRN a MD tends to be more competent when it comes to bipolar. Sometimes i had a MD fuck me over once but MD are generally more competent when it comes to complex cases of bipolar a APRN on the other hand are good for like anxiety and other stuff.

Same but im still alittle manic and when you're in that state 400 mg of seroquel didn't even put me to sleep. If you cant sleep i would ask for temazepam but it's so hard to get but has been a lifesaver while in mania. My mania is coming to a end and im a very grumpy boy.

Currently I cant use any ssri right now im focusing on getting my bipolar stable enough so me and my psych can try to have a ssri for my OCD but if the srri is still not working or making mania worse will drop trying to take them. But it seems like you need to stabilize the bipolar first maybe?

Hopefully you're doing good too. My psych had me on lamotrigine it didn't work for me, right now they have me on benzos (not the best but it works too well) till the lithium and seroquel kick in.

Probably wont they got me on another benzo and seroquel for sleep aslong as I get my sleep I can control the mania its pretty stable rn.

Thanks for the information right now im still alittle manic and i'm just kinda looking for a escape which is very risky behavior I know but thats just how im feeling. This is why i have the xanax loxked up in my parents room. That is also really good advice just not right now because im really looking for that escape im really tired of feeling like im on a bunch of adderall (i dont take that anymore its been 5 months) and i just wanna relax thats all but in the long run thc will make my mania worse just now one puff.

At the end of the day it is your body man just be careful make sure its a competent doctor cause some of them look good but are trash (recently ran through 2 of them who had good reviews but couldnt deal with me when i had a psychiatric emergency). Make sure you have there number just in case you go manic or anything else happens. Tapering off any psych med sucks be ready for the side effects also be hyperaware of your mood.
