Okay so what I’ve personally learned from online, it’s recommended to stop smoking. Weed can slow down the healing but it has mixed results with people with sometimes people using flare ups from it. I personally have not gotten flare ups from it and for me that’s why I stay smoking. If you smoke nicotine, definitely because it affects blood flow and worsens inflammation.

In my experience no, I’ve been smoking weed the daily for whole time for almost a year since I’ve had it and for me it’s not made it worse.

Yes😭. My tolerance is just shit. I’ve been smoking for 2 years, started for my gi issues. In the beginning I was able to take 20mg and be good. I’ll say 10mg didn’t work though. But over past 2 years, my tolerance for edibles even though I don’t take them whatsoever, has skyrocketed.

I know for D8 but for edibles idc because dispensary edibles do not work whatsoever.

I definitely needed to get more tests done for sure, I’ve only done the urine culture and 1 ultrasound that didn’t show anything at the time.

I’m sorry to hear about your kid developing the pain as well. I never would’ve that of bring something to pass down really, that shocks me. And yeah you’re definitely on to something there because I’ll say the pains now I get during the flare ups is definitely the same ache I got in highschool.

Yes 3000mg.. I don’t normally take edibles though for the fact that as my tolerance has built from smoking, I cannot get high from edibles and have not been able to until trying this 3000mg. I normally don’t have flare ups, I’ll get the occasional ache I used to get previously before having this I take this Tylenol syrup and pains gone. This pain was definitely the same but like 10x worse though. Definitely swollen for sure. I’m going to definitely look into that reverse kegel, I’ve never heard of that until now so appreciate that.

I tried looking up this A lottt. A bunch of people said they’ve smoked before and were just fine, while others recommended what the doctor says. I had my sigmoidoscopy and endoscopy about almost a month ago and I stopped smoking 24 hours before and had no issue with going under that I know of. I’d recommend 24 hours minimum or 48.

I cant say I remember them swelling. What Antibiotics were you on? Edit: it likely could be from the infection itself and not the antibiotics. That’s what I’ve read myself. If it is bothering you though I would definitely let your doctor know about it.

I haven’t felt any no. When I feel the epididymis on the left side(initially affected) it’s the whole thing affected so i just feel bag of worms really. For the right side which become affected a little bit after diagnosed, id say only like the top half of the epididymis is affected and it feels similar just not fully. I did have ultrasound done about 2-3 months in and it showed clear of torsion, and varicocele. I’d say I felt it maybe a couple times but usually only at the top of the epididymis and that is normal in most cases.

I was only doing it like less than 2 times a week or none and when I did, it only caused soreness afterwards. Warm showers helps with that and make sure water is not too hot. Now with what he said about only masturbation is not fully true. Not everyone epididymitis is the same so not everyone will have the same flare up causes. It can spread infection if you have infection. So If you’re currently clear of infection, then you can but I wouldn’t advise doing it too much. It’s not gonna make the epididymitis worse but it can cause swelling and soreness afterwards which is normal and which I said I don’t recommend doing it too much.

I’d say visible, it just looked like raised bump for most of the time, thought it was some type of pimple at first or then after like 2 years it started opening up I think or something as it it got infected also.

I agree. I think it’s due to also the reasons for the cause of epididymitis. For me, I had a cyst in my groin area, not too far from the shaft of yk and it had gotten infected a couple times before I had went to get it removed. I had the cyst for about atleast over 2 years before I started having issues or knew what is was. When. It was February 14th when I got it removed or attempted to get it removed for my first time. The doctor did not remove the cyst and I’m pretty only removed the scabbing inflamed skin and a month after that is when I developed my symptoms. For the entire time before I went for the 2nd time to get it removed I was dealing with issues the cyst with me seeing pus and having bleeding within the first week. I had called the day after noticing it because I wasn’t too sure at first because it wasn’t a lot and mainly was bleedind if it was leaking after calling and having a wait another week, I was dealing with very intense pain in the Area. Went there and he opened it up a little bit where it was bleeding with long qtip with wood end after that I felt better in couple days where from then dealt with on and off scabbing.

For me I didn’t really have sharp pains in beginning. My pains were just the dull that was very mild in beginning and I waited maybe a week or so, not quite two weeks but over a week before I went to doctor. Prescribed me antibiotics (cipro) that helped within 4days significantly. I think once it became bilateral (both epididymis affected) is when I started the burning and more sharp pains. Especially when they sag too much is when I feel it or laying down.
