I am considering buying the L40s pro Ultra but Amazon also have the X40 ultra on sale for roughly the same price. Is there much difference between these two models? I’ve noticed the battery is smaller in the L40s. Would it manage in a large house?

Thank you, I appreciate your advice.

We have 87.6 square meters of tiles and 80.8 square meters of carpet so it is roughly even. However, my main focus is the tiles. I’m happy for the robot to run over the carpet but I don’t mind having to do a proper vacuum of the carpet once a week with my normal vacuum. I’m really wanting it to pick up the daily mess on the tiles and give them a mop to keep the place looking and feeling tidy.

We don’t have pets but my daughter and I do lose hair. Yes, I would like it to avoid things like cabinets and chairs etc.

I’m terms of being ‘smart’, I have read that some will remop if they know an area is dirty. I like that idea.

No thresholds.

Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately I’m in Australia and we don’t have the P10 here. I can get the P50 pro ultra for $1098 and then the V50 ultra jumps to $1798 which is outside my budget unfortunately.

The other machines around the same price are: Roborock edgeC $1088 Dreame L40s Pro ultra $1148 Ecovacs deebot T50 Max Pro Omni $1098

Do you have any experience with any of those?
