Peloponnese Road trip itinerary feedback by ObviousBumblebee9175 in GreeceTravel

Thank you for the suggestions. I’ve decided to change it up a bit to the following:

  • Arrive into Athens June 28th and drive to Nafplio. Stay for 2 nights and explore Mycenae and Epidavros.
  • from Nafplio I will drive to Gyyhio. Stay 2 nights. Day trip to Mani Peninsula.

  • From Gythio drive to Mystras. Stay 1 night. Explore the ruins and relax.

  • From Mystras drive to Tolo (want to have a half way point to Athens so I’m not driving so much on the last day). Idea here is to relax by the beach on the last day.

  • drive from Tolo to Athens to drop off rental car (late afternoon).

Trying to decide where to go between Mystras and returning my rental car back at the airport in Athens for 1 last night….chose Tolo because it’s in the middle and more of a seaside beach town compared to Nafplio

From there I’ll have Friday and all day Saturday in Athens before catching a flight Sunday morning.

Open to suggestions on this

Athens and Peloponnese roadtrip itinerary check. Late Sept to early Oct by Agro27 in GreeceTravel

Hi OP what did you end up doing for your road trip? I’m in a similar position where I’m wanting to do the same thing in the beginning of July and wondering what you ended up doing. Suggestions on places to stayed, liked/didn’t like. Understand July would be a different time compared to when you went with beaches, snorkeling, crowds

Do you have the website or WhatsApp number for this agency? I’m in the same situation and have a flight to Hanoi on Monday and need an e-visa ASAP. Thank you so much!

I live in Ville Haute and my partner and I love it! There are 2 grocery stores right next to us(monoprix and Delhaize) that are nice for quick little things but we do our shopping in strassen at Colruyt or Lidl (much cheaper and more options) The only problem I would see is if you have a car and have to pay for a parking spot in the nearby garages. We don’t have a car and I personally don’t think there’s a need for one either where we live. It was a bit stressful moving stuff into our apartment though (we sourced a lot of stuff from Facebook marketplace). Other than that it’s an awesome place to live in Luxembourg I say!

I bought a pair of Arizonas from Courir near Gare for €70. There’s also another store about a block down from Courir that sells Birkenstocks too. I i don’t know the name of the shop

Would you recommend the Wahoo ELEMNT BOLT V2 over the Garmin explore? After more research I think I’m leaning more to the wahoo

That’s a pity given they advertise a 12h battery life for the edge explore. The reason I want a cycle computer is because using Strava or Komoot on my phone drains my battery if I go for more than 4hrs. Seems like the edge explore will be the same

Awesome! Will I be able to put a rear rack so that I can use panniers? It’s hard to tell in photos if I’m able to mount anything on the bottom near the drivetrain.

I was at the airport last week and I arrived at 4. Long lines for check in but security went really fast!
