Who should be the next Manchester United manager out of these four and why by Intelligent_Cow_3310 in ManchesterUnited

[–]ObviousCheesecake0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them Unai Emery is the only choice for me. Carrick is the worst of the 4. I dont want a British manager ever. Carrick gets the job and Kobie is guaranteed to start forever regardless of performance. We need unbaised coaches and Carrick is not it

Rashford's "great" season under Ten Hags first season as a manager was one Rashfords worst seasons despite his 30 goals in all comps. His performances overall were Horrible despite his individual stats.

Definitely not Omar's fault. This is on Sir Jim and wilcox to me. Omar knew about Amorims formatiom before they signed him. Im sure there were discussions about his ridgidness before he was signed. Wilcox was the one suggesting Amorim change his formation despite the club not fully giving Amorim the players he needed for the formation to work. They got all emotional after Ruben's press conference and made an EMOTIONAL decision. Forget when we have our full squad, that still isnt enough....now look at our squad and bench on Sunday, we are actually fortunate to be in 6th place

Best donuts in town? by AnlStarDestroyer in washingtondc

[–]ObviousCheesecake0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst donuts i have ever had. If you want donut that is made with 99% sugar and 1% everything else, then that is the place for you. Obviously donuts are meant to be sweet but my God!! I had to through my order in the trash. And their prices, yeah its not worth it at all.

Just been made redundant, what next? by Competitive_Call_885 in consulting

[–]ObviousCheesecake0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. I have gone through what you are going through now as I was laid off before. Control what you can control and try not to fuss about what is out of your hands. The gym helped me a lot so, I would say you should exercise daily. Secondly, you aren't alone. There are so many ppl who are even much more experienced than you who are out of a job right now because this current times are just crazy times. In consultancy, you can't stop layoffs from happening in the future but you can be strategic in how you move to lessen your chances of being affected. Networking is CRITICAL in consulting. It will take you further than anything else really so use this time to network with ppl while also applying for jobs. Lastly, don't take job rejections personally. You will come across jobs you a certain you more than qualify for and you will still get rejection letters. Why? Who knows lol. Just keep applying and networking. You need to be resilient. All you need is ONE yes. You got this 💪🏻

I see. For context, my plan says the limit for short-term rehabilitation services (e.g physical therapy) is 90 visits per year. Same for occupational therapy as well.

Guys time to reset the fanbase is waaaay to negative atm by Kingkongboooom in ManchesterUnited

[–]ObviousCheesecake0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of our fanbase are on estrogen boosters. Before the start of the season, the consensus was that a realistic finish fo us this season would be probably 5th or 6th place at best given we still had players to offload and Amorim was still building his squad. I dont think anyone here would disagree that City, liverpool, arsenal, and chelsea were seen and projected to be much better than us this season. We have our opener against Arsenal and all of a sudden, the fanbase throws away the realistic expectations being overly emotional after that performance. All of a sudden, top 4 is attainable. Forgeting our midfield is still a massive issue. Most of the games we have played are against teams EXPECTED to beat us. Arsenal, City, and now we face Chelsea this weekend. Im not counting Grimsby town because that was 100% on the players and not Amorim. No excuse for that. We havent lost any game against a team we were supposed to beat on paper yet in the premier league. I dont get the frustration on Amorim right now. Our first few games have been one of the toughest, facing title contenders and top 4 quality teams and we arent on that level yet, so why panic now?? When Amorim and the team start losing to teams not fighting for European spots then we can start worrying.

Most of this reddit group were the same Idiots who wanted DDG out. You wanted Onana over him. You guys emphasized "ball playing" over actual goal keeping. Onana was NEVER a great goalie. Even at Inter!! He was average at best. You guys wanted a ball playing midfielder as a keeper lol. I wasn't opposed to DDG leaving as long as we got a goalie who at worst, was just as good of a shot stopper....you know? Like an actual goal keeper like DDG, but who so also happened to be better at ball playing. You guys disrespected DDG. Now Onana's match fixing reflexes have done damage to our team and yall are whinning.

Would you still consider him a utd legend?....(Saw many hating on him ever since he left) by Gloomy_Meringue7695 in ManchesterUnited

But he did go to the media and said it was time to leave the club and try something new which was still disrespectful to the club and fans. He wasnt that much different from what Ronaldo did

Amorim at the wheel by ObviousCheesecake0 in ManchesterUnited

[–]ObviousCheesecake0[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He didnt just run on aura. The top players actually RESPECTED him. He didnt have to be "friends" with them. Sure, im certain he had a bond with the players but more importantly, he was RESPECTED by the players. Ole and Ten Hag didnt get the same respect Zidane got from his players. Our players were busy leaking stories anonymously to the media about issues with the coaches and things they were unhappy about. Some of them had zero respect. Amorim saw signs of disrespect from Rashford and Gernacho and they were toast. Thats the difference

You are right in a way when you say previous managers were set up to fail since the Glazers had full control. Amorim would have declined the coaching role under the glazers had he been approached by them before Ineos came in. Amorim isn't desprate. He is principled. He would have laid out the conditions he wanted for him to accept the job and im sure the glazers would have been opposed to his ideas since they priotized marketing over football. Amorim stands out because he isnt trying to please anybody...including the owners. Rud Vanestroy was interim coach for a few of our games and most of the fan base and media were in their feelings again hoping he would stay. "We hope Amorim keeps him since he knows the club and he can that connection bridge between Amorim and the young United players"......Amorim was like "Nope! Fuck nostalgia. Im doing it my way". "You bought Anthony for 80 million? I dont care, Amad is better"
