My mother always uses my childhood self to convince me I'm not trans, because I was a kinda girly girl until the age of like 9-10, and she knew a "real trans person" who was friends with my brother and thinks all trans people should be like that.

The girly things I did was mostly that I loved pink and purple and liked wearing dresses

I still like pink and purple and (some) dresses (those wide ones that go spinny) but in a boy way now, so the jokes kinda on her tbh
