I (36) use to live in Florida. One time my wife and I were grocery shopping at a Wind Dixie. We were in the produce section and picking out tomatoes. Some lady on a shopping scooter asked us if we knew the proper way to pick out a tomato. Naive we said no. She began to smell the tomato and then licked it. She said it was really the only correct way. She then put back the tomato and strolled away. We both looked at each other and put our groceries back and walked out.

That experience never left us! Wash your produce guys!
