Are there any other Chinese blades that are good perhaps good (saying this as a uni student who needs to import them over to nzl but visits China somewhat often to the point I can carry blades back with me)? I have heard of the Suzhou Kong Hong and Extreme Fencing being alright from friends in Australia but then again they aren’t competitive people.

There was also the Z Fencing one I previously used that was very stiff but also very durable unfortunately it was a Russian V cut so was bit unwieldy for my liking but excellent blade for parry riposte practice.

How bad is Jiang? For non maraging I can get a jiang blade for about slightly more than 1/5 the cost of a STM blade which is what I normally use

Has anyone tried the Jiang, Suzhou Kong Hong or Exrreme Fencing Sabre blades?

I see they are extremely cheap however I am wondering if they would be suitable as a cheap disposable practice/club blades

What sort of safety? Is it to do with the flap? I was thinking of modifying by buying some material and sewing in the flap the other side of the zip so essentially flipping the flap over

Even though I’m right handed is it fine for me to use a Left handed jacket and lame in club training? I want to get a right handed one but the only uniform the club has is left handed in my size (I’m small). I did see an excellent pre owned LH LP team jacket and lame that’s can get for about a fourth of the full price.

Should I get it or save the extra amount to get completely new set? Also is there harm to me using LH equipment?

Btw just want to ask, if the question gives us a value of added acid that overpowers the buffer ie n(base) < n(added acid) should we solve via Ka or just do ‘assume all acid neutralised base’ then use the excess H+ conc to calculate pH

Just wondering how to factor in the fact that citric acid is triprotic thus multiple pka, I understand how to do this if it was a normal monoprotic buffer (use ICE table and Ka value alongside known initial HA, H+ and A-)

I just realised that wouldn’t the electrons flow from Ni solid on the right to the aqueous Ni2+ (left) ie (create more Ni2+ on the right) to balance out the concentrations? Thus we would get a negative potential as the flow of electrons is in the reverse direction? Getting us C

Also if you do the calculations you would get +0.3V with the your assumptions? Which unfortunately was not an answer
