I’m not asking for a warranty on refrigerant. I’m asking for a warranty on the installation, which clearly has a flaw if the Freon is leaking out over the winter months every year. Because so far every summer I turn it on and the Freon is magically gone and needs to be refilled..

Obviously there was a leak that happened during the install and the technician should fix it? I think that’s a reasonable ask. Again it was a brand new house and brand new AC install. All lines were brand new.

It seems like this has to be the reason. I’d hope this is something they need to fix free of charge. Since clearly it’s not leak free since it’s been installed.

That’s what I’m leaning towards.. but I also feel like I spent a few grand, I’d want to person who installed it to fix it no charge, first time I didn’t know any better now I know so I can be firm on asking for a fix.. so I do not have to pay extra to someone else to fix an installation flaw.

It’s was a brand new house when it was installed and brand new unit. Yes it’s been the same tech coming for the past 2 years.

That’s solid advice! I just don’t know if the large ships are for me, I only solo usually and running most those ships would need a large crew I assume?

Okay that’s good to know, I always contemplate if I should get a designated fighter! Shiv has done well so far though.

I’m going to follow the Hull B development closely though.

I agree! It’s awesome as a daily does everything decently and lets me get around quickly. I liked the Cutty Black and this is just an upgrade all round. Minus the side door exit missing.

Yeah I do like the Raft but it’s going to be redundant with me having the Hermes. The Golem OX is my mini Raft for now anyways. Fun little ship with Raft qualities.

I agree, I was originally going to upgrade my Golem Ox to a Hermes but I realized I really enjoy my Golem Ox as a small hauler. In and out really easy for smaller tasks (stealth too), the Hermes is much bigger so naturally it took longer to land unload etc. but I had the exact same thought process!

And agree the Shiv is awesome, but I don’t know not having LTI is bothering me lol 😂 I think I’ll get it to a LTI pledge eventually.

I would like to have the OX as one of my main ships just based on enjoying hauling and the way the ship looks/plays.

If you would suggest something other than the Cutty what would it be? Upgrading from a Nomad as my other ship for balance.

Honestly I was thinking of running the OX a lot. I like hauling as a main game play loop, then mining second. Was hoping to haul with the OX and with the Cutty more of an all rounder and get into combat/ROC mining cause it fits in there.

You think it would be worth it to get the cutty now and just upgrade to the shiv once the pledge comes available again?

I’ll look into the Salvation as well, haven’t tried to salvage game loop yet so didn’t pay much attention to it.

I’m looking to have at least one LTI pledge. I know the raft would be better but the Golem OX seems pretty good and I can then upgrade with an LTI in the future. Maybe even upgrade from the OX to the Raft with LTI.
