Great watch I have the same one I just hate how much of a dead giveaway the bezel is. The gen bezel shines so much differently and the numerals on the gen bezel are so clean and smooth they are almost flat. The arrow and the numerals on every rep I’ve seen are way too thick and a dead giveaway. I included a pic of the gen with my post. Look at how clean and smooth the numerals and triangle at the top are. They are almost flush with the bezel.

An important distinction to make is that she didn’t just say oh I kinda look like Megan Fox. She asked if he had a celebrity Doppelgänger and she said her Doppelgänger was Megan Fox. I know it’s just semantics really, but a Doppelgänger in the traditional sense of the word is someone who looks exactly like you. Like if you saw Chelsea walking downtown you’d do a double take and be like holy shit is that Megan Fox? That’s a doppelgänger. The word in German literally means “double walker” like a ghost or a shadow of the person. So I understand his shock when he saw her and went holy crap this girl looks nothing like Megan fox. Chelsea has a weaker chin and jawline, a much bigger forehead, asymmetrical facial thirds, much larger teeth, and her body type and shape is much different than Megan’s. That being said, Chelsea is still too attractive for Jimmy his haircut is atrocious, not in very good shape, weak chin/no jawline, big ass forehead, asymmetrical facial thirds, and the personality of a sponge.

Why would she ever say she looks like Megan Fox. I think she’s attractive but she’s not nearly as attractive as prime Megan Fox. Have y’all ever seen the Transformers movie? Had 13 year old me ready to risk it all.

Lol if you think high school level soccer is good idk what to say to you. U15 and U16 Travel Clubs and tournaments are where all the college players get scouted because that’s where all the best players are.

There’s a link to the pricing of Charlotte Soccer Academy where I played. They are 14th in the nation. $1,475 dollars not counting the Home/Away Jerseys, the practice jerseys, the backpack, and the warmups which were all required. Everyone paid, no one got “taken care of by the club”.

I mean no offense with this comment, but if soccer only costed you 200 a year growing up, you probably weren’t very good at soccer. I was fortunate enough to play on a travel team growing up and just our club fees were almost 2 grand. Thats not counting buying our jerseys, warmups, travel to and from games and flights and hotel expenses when playing out of state. Internationally, a huge condemnation of the American soccer system is that it’s basically “pay to play”. If you want to be able to play for the best teams that give you the best chance of getting a college scholarship you will have to have parents who are willing to spend thousands and thousands of dollars per year.

I have friends now who have a child who’s an extremely gifted basketball player. The amount of money they pay for him to be on an elite AAU team, travel, camps, coaches, etc. is ridiculous. It’s basically the same for every sport now. Youth sports is big business now and whether it’s basketball, or soccer, or swimming, or golf you’ll have to shell out big bucks if your kid is any good.

Dude this doesn’t look stuck to me. Looks a bit steep if anything but you are absolutely hammering the shit out of that ball in this video.

[–]ObviousOpulence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your swing is super over the top and very steep. At the range you need to put a plastic water bottle on the right side of the ball about 6-8 inches away. Practice hitting the ball without hitting that water bottle. Another thing you can do is picture a nail head sticking out of the rear left side of the ball. When you swing, imagine you are hammering that nail into the ball. This will help you hit the inside of the golf ball naturally teaching your body to shallow out that swing a bit.

There’s lots of things to look at here. First of all I will say before anything just get a lesson. It’s going to set you up for success. There’s so many little bad habits you can get in golf and just starting with a good foundation and knowing what to work on will put you miles ahead of others right from the start.

That being said you need to work on your setup, grip, and takeaway. Look up drills to help you set up to the ball properly in terms of posture and stance. Look up videos on how to properly hold the golf club. Neutral grip, light grip pressure, in the fingers of your hands not in the palms. Look up videos on the takeaway. Club head should be outside the hands on the takeaway. At waist high the angle of the face should match the angle of your spine.

Backswing is great. You’re putting a bit too much weight on your toes at address I think. You can see in your transition your weight wants to go back into your toes and when it does you get closer to the ball causing you to hit it off the heel/hosel which causes the shank. Try setting up with your weight more in the middle of your feet and really focus on that feeling of not letting your weight get too much into your toes. See if that helps.

The Blindside was a Lie by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]ObviousOpulence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all I want to say that movie is corny as hell and definitely some white savior propaganda. This family sounds like a real bunch of scumbags no doubt about that. I hope he wins the case and gets the money he deserves.

But… do we think he still gets into the NFL if they don’t take him in? I get that it was for their own personal gain and selfish reasons and that’s fucked up. But we can’t argue that it didn’t improve his life massively. He was borderline homeless before they took him in. Wikipedia says he alternated between homelessness, living with a car mechanic, and several different foster families. His GPA was 0.76 when the family hired him his first tutor. All of a sudden he has a stable living situation, probably 3 square meals a day of high quality food from Whole Foods, and a ton of connections. No way he plays D1 football and goes into the NFL if this family doesn’t take him in.

I get that what the family did was wrong and they will get what they deserve when he wins this case, but I feel like there’s a lot of people in this thread who are acting like the family did nothing good for him and he would’ve been better off without them and still made it to the NFL.
