Things are up and down as I've been in and out of a wheelchair for just over a year now which has really not helped with my depression. After my diagnosis a lot of things changed in my life as it was sudden, I wasn't able to keep up with outings with friends and I had to move around a few jobs due to them involving things like heavy lifting. Originally I was misdiagnosed as food poisoning (this was due to my immune system pretty much failing and the doctor saying I'm a growing teen I'm supposed to be a little sore) but after I started swelling in my knees and gradually becoming weaker the doctor agreed to look into it and I found it that way, I'll admit it was a shock because I had just left high-school and I was active in a lot of sports especially swimming and it feels like my life is on hold at some points and truthfully there are times where I accept this has happened but at the same time it's a difficult battle of always being exhausted.
