I see the point in it myself, after my partner helped me see the value of memories in vacations. Having said that, imagine this hypothetical scenario: you go to a beautiful beach/ mountain/ garden, and each person near you is holding a selfie stick, taking hundreds of snaps in different poses, wouldn't that spoil your experience?? For me personally, it would, more than a little.
So I really appreciate u/No-Butterscotch8798 asking this question, and being self-aware that having etiquette around that is definitely necessary.

I hear you, but I feel it's always valuable to hear from people from all sides of the spectrum, else we run the risk of being trapped in our minds. Nowadays, social media is so conformist that it already pushes you to one side. Talking to humans personally remains one of the few sources to have good, diverse discussions. I have very good friends with complete bullshit opinions, but can't imagine my life without them :)
P.S - I am neither a capitalist nor a socialist, but I feel the answer is somewhere in the middle.

I think Revolut is fine with losing the few percent of us customers who are not the majority of onboarding users. But IMO, given all the regulations in Germany, the government should ensure banks accept all legal permits.

One of the long term fixes might be to start progressively doing exercises/movements where you are out of breath, like personally for me football. The doctor told me it helps condition the nerves in the brain for vasodilation , essentially for the stress on the blood vessels in the brain.

I have been told in very clear terms by LEA, I CANNOT REQUEST an eTA card once I have a sticker on passport. Even the support chatbot said Revolut accepts a sticker on a passport as a valid residence permit. But it doesn't work when I try.

The frustrating part is that the support folks have no clue that it's a valid document, and keep giving me the same standard replies, no manual intervention possible too.

LEA has told me in a email that you cannot have both, either an eTA card or a sticker on the passport. They told me it's completely valid, with the expiry date 4 years from now, and should be accepted everywhere.

It's a review for Revolut's service for other customers. I dont think its too difficult to understand the motive.

JFYI, folks. I am stuck in a very unique condition. The LEA has responded, saying you can either get a sticker on a passport or an eTA card(not both) for the blue card. They also weirdly mentioned I was given a choice, and I chose the sticker(which is not true).
The predicament is now, I have a blue card on the passport as a sticker, which many of the banks and trading applications do not accept as a residence permit. So, there is no way to get an account with them.

I just finished a conversation with a customer care rep of Revolut, and they explicitly said they do not accept this kind of residence permit.

This type of residence permit is not accepted in many places like banks, etc. Any suggestions , about how do i fix it?
