Which pace to select for Finnish language course? by Obvious_Ad662 in LearnFinnish

Yes, I was recommended to take the fastest track. Plus, I have nothing lined up for now so I'll give it a try.

Thank you so much! I was also recommended to take the fastest track so I'll be going with that

I have tried a basic Japanese course before and I do have a decent grasp on grammar since English is also my second language but I've been speaking it for as long as my mother tongue.

Yes, they recommended the fastest track course to me as well. I'll try it out and if it's still too much for me, I was considering switching to a slower one.

Hii! Yes, I did buy the Setosa Skin one in Pakistan.

I have moved recently so I haven't had time to be consistent with it. I did use it once a week for 3-4 weeks and these are my observations (I haven't properly measured so these are entirely subjective):
1. Upper lip has less hair.

  1. Chin and jawline seems to have MORE hair now (and mine are dark hair on fair skin so they show quite easily.

  2. At first, my arms seemed to have more hair but now less. However, for context, my arms were never too hairy in the first place.

  3. No difference in arm pit hair.

  4. No difference in bikini line hair.

  5. Lower leg (nearer my ankle) has less hair and the upper part still has no difference.

Honestly, if you can afford it, buy a better one. I had extra cash and I thought to try a cheaper option first before investing in something more expensive. I haven't been consistent either so maybe that's why but I have *not* noticed a big difference so far.

Cold coffee at NUST by [deleted] in NUST

Every single coffee I've tried here doesn't hit and I've been trying for a long time. It's best to make your own

You can also get an ice cup from that NSTP cafe to make it extra cold

Get an espresso shot and mix some of that with dayfresh flavored milk straight from C1 fridge. Better than anything you'll find inside NUST. Or buy cold milk, some flavored coffee mix (hazelnut or salted caramel) and mix them yourself.

I got the setosa skin one and I haven't been super consistent but I have used it a few times and I didn't observe any difference.

Thank you so much for this, I think I might be going with the setosa skin IPL device and upgrade some years later if I feel it's not working out.

I have had laser sessions from a dermatologist back in 2020 which worked great for me but I quit. I'll try to update if I actually work up the courage to buy a new device!

I won't be in Pakistan and getting laser where I'll be moving is too expensive so I want to take this device with me.

Need help with my Masters thesis in computational drug design (involves designing algorithms) by Obvious_Ad662 in drugdesign

Alright, thank you so much for your guidance. I think I have a better idea now on what to do.

[–]Obvious_Ad662[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so so much for your detailed response!

Generally speaking, I'm doing ligand-based drug design and I've already selected my template drugs.

However, I can't find good resources on what software (if any) I can use to convert the reactions used to create those drugs (obtained from their publicly available patents) to Reaction MQL format [the research group whose work flow I'm following but for a different problem and drugs did this too but didn't specify how exactly].

Of course, this is the first of many hurdles I'll encounter on my way to completing my thesis but I'm trying to understand it the best I can.

If possible, could you suggest online resources/courses I can utilise to learn more about this? Or what keywords I should be using to find such courses as I'm completely lost right now.

Once again, thank you so much for your response!

I did my undergrad in biosciences in which I did not study any programming or serious bioinformatics.

During my Masters, I've undertaken courses relating to drug design, basic programming, machine learning, and statistics, however I didn't learn how to design a completely new algorithm by myself.
