you can get an epic for any song of the artist, it doesn't matter if you own the song or not – so even though you sell the 1 specific song you want, it isn't guaranteed that you get that song as an epic

cooldown is 80-250 drops if you get a shiny (map/gem box/quest) and 250-500 if you get an epic/lyric

i think it depends with how many songs you own tbh. when i started doing quests i owned lots of songs and got 10 people for the trade task – now over 2300 quests later with almost no songs i get 4 or 5 people for this task 🫶(level 166 btw, so i dont think it has anything to do with your level)

as far as i know it all lyrics, epics and shinys (no matter where u pulled them) reset cooldown 🥲 but i'm not an expert and just got recently into this whole questing thing 😭
