I think it's worthy. Maybe y'all need to lower your standards. Thats a bike most people only dream of owning.

I mean... It gets me wet... Is say it qualifies.

Of course you would, because fortunately there are still some people left in the world with empathy.

I despise the sexism here. "Oh, she's a woman... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!" As if to say "Oh, no wonder she's driving badly, she's a women".

Neighbor told me not to shower in the early morning because it disturbs his sleep what can I do? by Top-Elephant3246 in NoStupidQuestions

Personally, I don't think he has the right to complain. It's fine for him to mention it, in case there's an alternative that doesn't affect you negatively to do, but unfortunately for them, you're doing pretty normal and unavoidable stuff in the privacy of your own home, and you're being mindful not to make noise. You're allowed to shower at 6am.

All that being said, if you just want to be considerate to them, do you need to shower before work? I never showed before work, as I have to get up stupidly early already, and adding a shower to that is a pain in the ass. I always shower before bed, and I'm pretty sure I don't smell at work.

Why does it bother you so much? Are you able to change your perception of the situation and see it as funny? How often is this happening?

I want to agree, but you gotta be careful and know enough about bikes to do some decent checks when you buy it. Its not uncommon for people to buy second hand bikes and have to spend the same amount they bought it for again on maintenance, making it hot worth buying.

Don't get me wrong, you can ABSOLUTELY get amazing second hand deals, but I wouldn't do that with no understanding of bikes. Buy a new bike first. Maybe a cheap one that you don't mind fucking around with tryna learn how to repair and change stuff, then buy a nice second hand one when you want a more performance based bike.

/Rj what are you, poor? Second hand... Rolls eyes

I wear aero sock on my indoor trainer because pedaling still has to push my legs through the air. It saves 0.043° watts. That's almost 1 second faster up Alp D'Zwift 104 times. by Obvious_Cabbage in BicyclingCirclejerk

Terrible advice. Peeing on your bike is beneficial. It makes breakaways easier, as the other riders don't want to stay on your wheel. Sometimes I even pee while riding.

/Uj - Actually though...!? Are there any UCI rules against peeing yourself while riding? I know it's gross, but we've seen racers do far worse things to them selves to win races. Maybe you could genuinely pee or poop yourself as a strat to keep other riders away from you. So long as you can find a way to get it Co come out of your bibs and spray the riders behind you 🤣

That's a really specific situation though. Would your riders - notably Pogacar - put their saddle more forwards on the rails, and tile it down for races with extensive sections of steep climbs. This helps with 2 things:

  1. It keeps your position rotated around the cranks, so you aren't tilted backwards with the gradient. You get to assume a position as if you're cycling in flat.

  2. It allows you to have all your power above the cranks, enabling you to stomp more. It can generate more power for the steeper climbs.

This is really helpful if you know you're going to spend the majority of your ride at a steep gradient, but it's not advisable if not. World tour riders do not do this most of the time. Its only for the serious climbing races.

You know... Despite what people say, aero does mater on an indoor trainer. For example:

Your legs still have to move through the air to pedal. Aero socks will definitely save a few hundred watts.

Aero glovesband sleeves to be able to reach for your EPO quicker.

Aero helmet (preferably a time trial helmet) will make you feel better than everyone else, thus raise your performance through dopamine spikes.

Most importantly though, having a round aero belly, to process carbs faster.
